The Carmelite convent that gave us the 16 Martyrs of the French Revolution will close: "The Carmel of the Annunciation, founded in Compiègne in 1641 and following the Rule of St. Teresa of Avila, was the 53rd foundation in France at the time. It had a unique impact, giving the Church 16 holy martyrs. Imagine having to explain to your great grandparents that in 2026 the Republican governor of Ohio could be a man by the name of Vivek Ganapathy Ramaswamy, whose campaign consists primarily in lecturing real Ohioans on what it means to be an American.

One of the biggest lies told in Europe is that migrants are being imported "for the economy" or to sustain pension payments. The viciousness towards Erika is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Just absolute psychopathic cruelty being casually exhibited by huge numbers of people on both sides of the aisle. Even if you don’t like Erika for some dumb reason, this treatment is still deranged and cartoonishly evil. There are women in public life who I despise but if their husbands were shot and they were left raising young children alone, I wouldn’t mock and bully them. I wouldn’t pretend that I suddenly like them either. I’d probably just keep my mouth shut. That is also an option. If you don’t like Erika, you could always just focus on something else, rather than putting your wickedness on display for the world to see.
