@icobeast tbh, for better or worse, coinbase barely even notices blast, let alone is actively concerned about it

at this point i'm not convinced that people posting this stuff aren't paid FUD from Coinbase A few things: 1) EVERY Optimistic rollup has this 7-day minimum withdrawal process. It's literally part of the stack. 2) Even random bumfk rollup L2s on BNB have it (since BNB is just a copy of the ETH EVM). Pretty sure Base is an Optimistic rollup...which means if you wanted to use the native bridge back to mainnet, you'd have a 7 day period as well. 3) The reason you can "instantly" bridge out of Base on Coinbase is because they've got such deep liquidity that they're willing to obscure the bridge time behind the scenes and basically arbitrage the bridge time for you

@intern I think you're right. The knee jerk reaction is that it's impossible but that's really just a huge bias. Look at the decade long trend line. Talk with people really close to it. Look into it with open eyes and it's quite compelling. With that in mind, enjoy what we have now
