@Biidii_oi @DaddyTwinzz Germanic and Celtic peoples are not different races. They are distinct ethnic and cultural groups within the broader Caucasian race English, German, Dutch are tribes within the Germanic language group Ika, Ngwa, ikwerri, are tribes within the Igboid language group

@Xipfries @DaddyTwinzz Culture is people's way of life, language is a major part of culture, dialect is not a different language but a subset of language. Race is a different aspect. Germanic, Slavic, and Celts are races in Europe, Nigeria we are all subset of the Negro. Don't confuse ethnicity & race

The quotes and comments are exactly why many of us from Delta North remain cautious about the Anioma State proposal and any suggestion of being subsumed under a broader South East identity. Let me be clear. Ika people are proud of who we are. Our dialects and cultural identity are not footnotes to be renamed or redefined by anyone else. Yes, there are cultural and linguistic connections, but those connections should never become a basis for erasing our distinctiveness or speaking over our identity like it is inconsequential. That’s why I reject the creation of Anioma State, completely and unequivocally. It does not represent our interests, it does not reflect our identity, and it does not offer any convincing benefit to our people. It is a forced marriage that will distort who we are and advance agendas that do not align with the will of the majority of the Delta North people.

I am only responding to you because you mentioned my name. While I believe the scholar’s action is wrong and condemnable, it is important to first address the pastor’s provocative remarks that triggered the situation. The scholar’s statement, though unacceptable, did not occur in a vacuum and would not have been made without that initial provocation.
Brother Possible@BrotherPossible

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo has never threatened one person like this. Yet, you'll see Bashir and his goons attacking him day and night. Now, look at this. That Alex Babir guy was haunted like a terrorist simply for speaking against Christian Genocide. And there's this unfortunate son of that unfortunate religion threatening a pastor, and everyone is looking away. God will sha punish you people.

Today in Nigeria: Imam offering 1 million Maira to behead Christian Pastors. Pope Leo in Africa yesterday: “We should perhaps be a little less fearful of Islam.” “…whoever carries out this job (of beheading the pastor), I swear to Allah I’ll give him one million naira. We have nothing to lose even if after beheading this pastor, the Arewa plunges into chaos, we have nothing to lose…”

@IU_Wakilii There's no reason whatsoever to insult our own Prophet Muhammad SAW. We Muslims believed in Jesus Christ as messenger of God sent with divined book - The Bible. Anyone who claims to be Muslim but doesn't believe in Jesus he's not a Muslim.

I just saw a video of one pastor insulting the prophet SAW and the government and security agencies are watching and they are doing nothing about it. Again, until you take away foolish bastards from the pulpit who are preaching hatred, it will be hard to see that peace you are looking for in plateau. You can't have people with followers in every nook and cranny preaching violence and then expect peace.

@YusufAsunmogejo @REWINDREElss So if your neighbor holds animals sacred, will it be right for him to expect you not to eat meat? Will it be right for him to place a bounty on your head because you eat meat? What you call "shaitan" is somebody's god yet you don't respect but insult and ridicule it everyday.

Let’s make it like this… If you are my neighbor of different religion and I tell you this is sacred to me… are you saying because you don’t hold it as sacred, then to hell with what I hold dare? You have the right to flout it? Is that what you are saying? How many times have you seen Muslims abusing Jesus or anything you hold sacred? If you have seen one, show me. And see whether I won’t condemn the person.

This is a really serious situation and we have to be clear that there are sacred lines that must be respected if we ever want this country to move forward. You cannot just go and insult what is most precious to a whole people and think it will not have consequences for our collective peace. If we do not respect these boundaries, we will never grow as a society. It is about basic human respect for the identity of your neighbor and the things they hold dear. It’s nothing too much to ask for. Having said that, we also have to be honest about the preacher's response. It is purely emotional and clearly overboard. Islam does not support this kind of thing where one person decides to be the investigator, the judge, and the executioner all at once. I have talked about this extensively in my article on Blasphemy. Taking the law into your own hands like that only leads to a mess that affects everyone and creates a cycle of violence. Islam is a religion of order, not a "do-it-yourself" legal system. The preacher has no right to call for a bounty on someone's head from a pulpit. In fact, it is against the very rules of Islam he claims to be protecting. That’s is why there is a principle that says: لا يُنْكَرُ المُنْكَرُ بِمَا هُوَ أَنْكَرُ مِنْهُ This means that you cannot forbid an evil by bringing about an evil that is even worse than the one you are trying to stop. This rule is a golden principle for social order in Islam. The task is prosecuting the Christian brother is a task for the state and the courts to handle. If we don’t abide by these rules, we would only be practicing vigilantism. And remember, this is a primary cause of fitna (civil strife and chaos), which the Quran warns is worse than killing itself. May Allah protect us.
UNCLE DEJI™️@DejiAdesogan

🚨 POTENTIAL CRISIS ALERT 🚨 The Islamic cleric who placed a million naira bounty on the head of the pastor accused of blasphemy has restated his resolve “…whoever fulfills that requirement (beh3ading the pastor), I swear to Allah I’ll give him that money (one million naira), no retreat… we have nothing to lose if after beh3ading this pastor Arewa plunges into chaos…” The Government should urgently address the potential religious crisis arising from their religious statements. This could involve cautioning them or even prosecuting them if necessary.

ARMY STRIKES IPOB/ESN STRONGHOLDS, RECOVERS EXPLOSIVE, RANSOM FUNDS Troops of the Nigerian Army (NA) under Operation EASTERN SANITY have intensified offensive operations across the South-East, decisively overrunning IPOB/ESN strongholds and pushing the criminal elements into disarray. Relentless pressure mounted by the troops, backed by superior firepower, intelligence and joint-force synergy, has continued to expose the group’s weakening structure and inability to withstand sustained military action. On 14 April 2026, joint troops of Sector 1, supported by the Air Component of Operation UDO KA, launched a precision strike and clearance operation in Ajali Forest, Ezeagu Local Government Area of Enugu State. The offensive forced IPOB/ESN elements into a chaotic retreat, abandoning critical assets, including an anti-tank Improvised Explosive Device (IED). The failed attempt to deploy the device underscores the group’s desperation and declining operational competence. The IED was safely secured by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Security team, averting potential harm to troops and civilians. Troops have since established firm dominance over the general area, sustaining aggressive clearance operations and systematically dismantling all terrorist infrastructure. The deliberate destruction of hideouts using chainsaws and bulldozers has stripped the criminals of cover, leaving them exposed, scattered and unable to regroup or mount any meaningful resistance. In a related intelligence-driven operation on the same day, troops of 82 Division Garrison deployed at Adani in Uzo-Uwani LGA, acting on credible intelligence from the Department of State Services, tracked and intercepted ransom proceeds linked to a kidnapping syndicate. The swift raid led to the arrest of a notorious kidnap suspect, further exposing the group’s reliance on criminality to sustain its collapsing network. Exploitation of the area led to the recovery of a pump-action rifle and the sum of Two Million Naira (₦2,000,000), Cash believed to be ransom funds, from the suspect’s residence. The suspect and recovered items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities, for a through investigation to track other members of the criminal gang. The operation further degraded the IPOB/ESN’s operational and financial capacity. These outcomes further demonstrate that IPOB/ESN elements are steadily losing ground, resources and cohesion under sustained military pressure. The Nigerian Army remains unrelenting and fully committed to annihilating all criminal and insurgent elements, denying them any sanctuary. The NA further assures law-abiding citizens of its unwavering resolve to protect lives and property and urges continued public support as operations intensify to restore enduring peace and stability across the South-East.

look at it this way, Nigeria has six geopolitical zones, North(East, west, central) South (East, west, south) In the event of a split, the entire north would become one, South would split into 3 countries the uncomfortable truth about a Nigerian split is that it wouldn't produce 4 equal nations. It would produce two or three viable states and one or two that would struggle for survival from day one. the South-south has oil that currently flow from Niger delta to Abuja, if we split, it becomes theirs alone and many people agree that Niger delta could become Kuwait in few years south East has always been very resourceful that even though it’s technically landlocked, they will surely find a way to access the ocean and engage in international trade. But it would still struggle a bit because they would not have comparative advantage over china in manufacturing and they would need relationship with other countries to sell imported products. there is a claim that south west already functions almost independently because of lagos, but it would require that they take over the gap that the Igbo fills in lagos for that to be valid after split. however, with access to ocean, the country would easily get on its feet. where it gets complicated is the North. They are totally landlocked with little or no mineral resources. It would be an economy built almost entirely on subsistence farming and livestock. by this logic, we will have a 2 struggling nations- North and south east and rich South south and neither rich nor poor South west and struggling nations don't stay peaceful, they pressure their wealthier neighbours and they destabilise an entire region. like what Chad, Niger and Cameroon are currently doing to us. Some could say this is why the topic of separation is almost like a blasphemy to the northern elites and a self sabotage to the south easterners.

He has a point. Most Nigerians have the wrong idea of what Education means. For them, it’s not education until it is western education. In their thinking, there were not educated people in Africa until the white man came, and if the white man didn’t come along, we would have all been illiterates till date. This colonized mindset must die by fire.
