The overly sensitive Russian dictator continues to murder his critics globally. Russian artist Semyon Skrepetsky, known for his sharp criticism of the Kremlin was reportedly shot dead in the Polish city of Biała Podlaska. According to Polish media reports, the attacker approached Skrepetsky in the parking area of a residential building and opened fire at close range. A suspect has reportedly been detained near the Belarusian Embassy, while investigators are also examining the possible involvement of a taxi driver who allegedly transported the attackers. Authorities have increased security around schools and kindergartens attended by his children. Reports also indicate that Skrepetsky's Telegram channel has disappeared. Born in Russia's Altai region as Robert Kuzovkov, Skrepetsky became widely known for political cartoons depicting Putin, Kadyrov, Lukashenko and Navalny. After relocating to Poland in 2021, he remained active in anti-Kremlin demonstrations across Europe.

US researchers have apparently identified the cause of widespread GPS disruptions over Europe: Russian early-warning satellites are reportedly emitting signals capable of significantly impairing GPS reception. Russia’s suspected use of early-warning satellites to deliberately jam GPS signals across large parts of Europe marks a dangerous escalation in space-based electronic warfare. Instead of using these systems—which are intended for missile early warning—solely for defensive purposes, Moscow is apparently testing or operating offensive capabilities that threaten civil aviation, maritime shipping, emergency services, and critical infrastructure on a continental scale. Has the email of condemnation already been sent to Moscow?

Putin’s advisor Ushakov says Trump, in a conversation with Putin today, promised to put pressure on the Europeans and Ukraine during the G7 summit, and otherwise, to accept Russian peace conditions. (Uncommon in a readout to speak on behalf of the interlocutor, by the way.)

There are now reports of Kyiv's historic Dovzhenko movie studio burning in addition to the thousand-year-old Lavra and the Kharkiv Art Museum already damaged by Russian strikes today.
