Aside from them not dropping any content worth anything for months, i hopped on last night for the first time in 2.5 months and pvp’d for about 2 hours. Last raid of the night i brought an anvil bobcat in, killed about 12 people and every one of them had free kits. Do you know how fast that made me get off and not wanna play for another few months? Why even bring a kit? The fact it’s even possible for me to risk that loadout and I’m being put in the same game with a bunch of people who have nothing to lose, just for me to possibly die by arc or some stupid shit?? Just such a stupid system lmao

@KeffirLime @DqRoman1 MMORPGS or other Waframes just have complex farming and building systems where more u invest more crazy Numbers u can pull off. This is kind „competetive” but I would argue most ppl in PoE or warframe doesnt care that much.

@DqRoman1 People don't realize that without a competitive scene, no game will hold numbers. Everyone get's bored eventually. When it's competitive people play to get better, build teams, go to tournaments etc. The drive to play more is skill progression not the actual game.

I hate when people try to be intellectual about games by just saying random buzzwords. CS players been playing the same game mode on dust using the same gun for 50 fuckin years. It doesn't have shit to do with updates no matter how much the internet tries to point that as the blame. Reality is, the core gameplay of arc raiders just isn't something that's gonna keep players for 10k hours like some other titles. People played the fuck out of it for a couple months straight, had a blast, then got bored. Arc raiders is one of the least competitive extraction shooters out there, and competition is what makes a lot of live service games thrive long term especially in the shooter space. Constant updates is a bandaid fix that brings people back for update day, then the numbers just dip even lower after a week. Just like destiny. It's big spikes, then bigger drops. Updates can't hide shallow gameplay forever. The gameplay loop just isn't one to invest all your free time into. And that's okay. Every game doesn't have to consume your life.

I have a friend that i’ve known for nearly a decade and we’ve played MOBAs with each other for thousands of hours, but in deadlock he straight up throws all of my games. He goes 0-12 every match and I don’t know how to tell him that I don’t wanna play this game with him anymore.

@lolsteven07 People aren’t “getting good,” they’re just quitting. It’s not about being good or bad, it’s about not being willing to put time into the game. The peak on the chart is the Cryo launch.

Tip of the day: Holliday's Bullet Velocity has almost doubled from last patch and now it is 1,156. To put into perspective, Warden has 290 & Wraith has 572. Patch notes said various behavior and feel improvements to her gun. Does everyone think this is too much or needed?

Furthermore this game is SERIOUSLY not casual friendly. If you think you can play this game every once in a while and have the same experience you see others have you’re wrong. You’re always on the grind wich is why alot of things seem unfair or too hard to get, again, its grindy

Arc Raiders is a very special game. Im gonna compare to Undertale, in the sense that you’re given the option to kill everyone, or be friendly. The community is split into 2 cuz of that wich gives the illusion of embark not listening since 50% want tarkov and the other helldivers

i thought the issue was there wasn't enough. like sure there's a ton of jungle and boxes, but theres *only* jungle and boxes. buffs and urn spawn every 5 minutes then between those there's no other neutral objectives besides midboss

Aí você resolve ir pra guerra tendo um informante por anos e por dois meses coloca como defesa >1< Viltrumita e um exército cheio de buchas pra ser o suporte. Tipo assim cara, se 5 Viltrumitas morrem tu já perdeu mais de 10% do teu exército tlgd. E aí ele só resolve mudar o Plano 2 meses depois disso pra aí atacar com vários Viltrumitas a sede da coalização. Se ele fizesse isso desde o começo ele já tinha ganhado a guerra tlgd, eu sei que obviamente é pra eles perderem mas isso fica parecendo só burrice.

Ranking up in competitive videogames is not nearly as difficult as it’s often made to seem. You don’t need to be a basement dweller who spents 18 hours queueing ranked. You don’t need god gamer genetics to climb out of gold. You need to be better. As with basically everything in life, in order to be above average, you just need to be willing to do the things that average people do not. Fortunately for you, we’re talking about ranked players. The bar cannot be lower. 90% of the improvement process up to a decent level comes from the 2 simplest to understand and easiest to apply aspects possible. 1 - Play somewhat consistently. Anything at or above 4 days a week, 2 hours a day is more than enough to get better. 2 - Make your playtime mean something. Quality over quantity, rage queueing on a 6 loss streak is how you reach a full red carpet match history. Same goes for queueing up on 2 hours of sleep without eating or drinking. Your brain physically cannot work. Once you’re at a decent level of quality, USE YOUR BRAIN. Ask yourself questions. What worked? What didn’t work? Why did/didn’t that work? ACTIVELY THINK ABOUT THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE IN A GAME. Boom, suddenly you begin consistently climbing! Why? Because you’re operating at the level of a sentient human, something that your random teammates in ranked are conceptually unable to accomplish. ENJOY THE ELO STOCKS 📈📈📈
