@TelegraphDucker After letting his team down, I blame the weak coach that granted his exit.

Jeremy Doku will rejoin #Belgium squad in Seattle Tuesday night US Pacific time after flying to London to attend the birth of his son, Praise. So after all the ridiculous criticism the #MCFC winger received from some commentators he won’t miss a game after all - not that he should have been rebuked for wanting to attend the birth of his first child whether he had missed a game or not! telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

Black shoplifters steal from Paris Baguette, a Korean-owned bakery (this one in Manhattan’s Koreatown), with zero consequences. Regular customers report it happens nearly daily, but police and management do nothing because they don’t want to be “racist.”

SNEAKO goes OFF on Bengalis rooting for Argentina and Messi at the World Cup, questioning why they're so emotionally invested in a country they have no connection to 😭👀 "Does this get to a point where it's borderline shirk? What connection do you have to Argentina? At what point is this idol worship? What is it with 3rd world countries doing this?"

‘After spending billions over the last 20y, what has Arsenal actually won that's noteworthy? One PL title in 2026, helped by the PGMOL++++ everyone knows it. Exactly what they needed. Yet they still demand we treat them as a big club just because of the top4 spots they've bought.’ You’re absolutely raging son 😂 One PL would be the biggest thing in your life 😂

Arsenal fans are proper pubic lice, they just won't leave me alone, it's a fact. Declan Rice is an average midfielder whether you like it or not.💯💯💯

In all my years of watching the FIFA World Cup, I’ve never seen anything on this level. The USA is putting on the best World Cup ever. If that bothers you, a retweet would be appreciated. 😎🇺🇸

To many who have actually seen combat, know how this female officer feels. To have a man, come from behind in the SAME direction as the shooter was, would startle any seasoned officer. This was a tragic case of misidentification in an extremely tense situation. Her partner has just been shot. Shooter mere feet away. Then this guy casually strolls up behind her in what appears to be complete silence. What would YOU have done?

When a goalkeeper makes an error that leads to a goal, I think of Raya. When a defender makes a reckless tackle and gets sent off, I think of Gabriel and Saliba. When a player takes too much time to take a corner and a goal kick is given, I think of Rice and Saka. When I see a manager losing his cool on the touchline because he’s out of ideas, I think of Mikel Arteta. Every poor touch, reckless tackle, and tantrum reminds me of Mikel Arteta and Arsenal.

@Mpomponwa8 @AnythingArs_ @PeakSxnti @JkElijah Even Sir Alex Ferguson believed family comes first. If a player needed time for an important family matter, he’d approve it. Football isn’t more important than your wife giving birth.

In March 2022, Gabriel chose to stay with his partner for the birth of their first child rather than play for Brazil during the international break. Coach Tite and national team coordinator Juninho decided to leave him out of the team going forward, and it ultimately cost him his place in the 2022 World Cup squad. He missed the World Cup, but he was there for his wife and daughter, and I’m sure he has no regrets. Both Tite and Juninho eventually left their roles, and Gabriel earned his place back in the national team, becoming a starter and one of its most important players. He is now playing at another World Cup four years later, but he wouldn’t have the opportunity to witness another birth of Maya.

@Mpomponwa8 @AnythingArs_ @PeakSxnti @JkElijah If a player returning home because his wife is due to give birth in two weeks is reasonable, Ferguson’s philosophy would generally support that: family responsibilities come before football when the situation is important enough.

@JkElijah @Mpomponwa8 @AnythingArs_ @PeakSxnti Former players have spoken about how Ferguson would immediately allow players time off for births, family emergencies, illnesses, or bereavements without making a fuss. He believed that if a player was worried about his family, he wouldn’t be mentally focused on football anyway.

When local Aussies use this phrase “Import the 3rd world, become the 3rd world”….they refer to this type of uncivilised and unacceptable behaviour. You either goto a car wash or wash it on your driveways. We cannot simply connect a hose to council’s water tap and start washing our cars on the street. This is absolute lack of civic sense. #nocivicsense #civicsense #indians #sydney #australia
