Our schools need to implement #BCedEnhancedMeasures so they’re safe and supportive environments for students, teachers and staff & I think you know it, @jjhorgan and @JM_Whiteside and @adriandix. A short delay, shots in arms, N95s on faces, tests when needed… It’s NOT THAT HARD.

The pandemic has shown just how important #bced schools are to kids and their wellbeing. It has also proven that public education and teachers are essential to the #bcpoli economy. It’s time to back that up with the funding and support our students need to thrive.

BC needs to report more detailed data, instead of invoking privacy, unpersuasively as an excuse for not providing more granular information about COVID-19 cases. And also report cases on weekends, as other provinces manage to do. #bcpoli #bced
