Which means those without a car who have to use the NDR to walk and connect will take almost 30 minutes and walk over 1.5 kilometre more. Who is going to use a rail line where this is the connection ?

It’s Saturday which means the gates are closed for Moyross residents . Yesterday on the radio a Woodview resident said the new road means it’s a 5 minute drive on the NDR. But 50 percent of Moyross don’t drive and those using rail will have to walk. 1/

A child in Moyross who needs to get to other side of that wall in a hurry can only do so between certain hours and then the gate shuts them out.

Israeli leadership made it very clear before this overnight ‘ceasefire’ announcement, that they wanted to end Hezbollah once and for all - and intended extending Israeli territory 30 kms into Lebanon up to Litani River and wd refuse to allow Leb residents to return. Difficult to see Israel suddenly agreeing to stop this

Traffic calamity yesterday in Caherdavin.I saw someone almost be knocked down on a footpath yesterday due to a frustrated Clare fan who couldn’t find parking and was rushing to the game. No house in Woodview is directly passed by university way. It’s time to connect our Northside

I commend the stance taken by the club, who've sacrificed a lot already in order to provide a train station for the Northside of Limerick.
But if this doesn't happen, it would be an absolute travesty. Only in Limerick, could this happen. We need real political leadership now.

Moyross UTD's statement. Huge. The club will NOT be signing off the land to Irish Rail in order to build the train station in Moyross unless cllrs make a clear commitment to University Avenue. We're losing this amazing opportunity, because cllrs in Limerick dont want progress.

@SeanOBrien71 As it stands Sean, the public Consultation was held 2 weeks ago and the same cllrs are against it. They have dismissed the 2nd option on the table this time around as well. Consultation process will take a few more weeks, and vote for Part 8 will be held in September.

The local FF/FG councillors are against University Avenue, and that's what I called out.

It’s time to call it out. @apow8 ( Adrian Power) knows that this connection needs to be delivered. Moyross has bent over backwards to accommodate a train station but as it stands it’s a train station that will not connect you to major landmarks on the Northside of Limerick.
