@antisemitism Really terrible. I hope the severity of the suspended sentence they get reflects this heinousness of the crime. (Or acquittal if they get some ‘sectarian’ jury members.)

Campaign Against Antisemitism
We are absolutely heartbroken that this is how low Britain has sunk. This horrific act truly plumbs new depths. Hatzola is a volunteer-run ambulance service run by the Jewish community but catering to everyone, Jews and non-Jews alike, working with the NHS to save lives as fast as possible. They provide outstanding medical care at lightning speed every hour of every day, and fundraise to buy ambulances and equipment. They are truly a shining example of the Jewish community coming together to help everyone in the most fundamental of ways by giving the gift of life. Burning their ambulances in an attempt to put them out of action is a truly repulsive act of antisemitic hatred in a Britain where Jews now have to keep everything from schools to synagogues under constant guard. Our society has become infested with the sickness of antisemitism. In this case it is not only about catching the perpetrators and restoring the ambulances, but about politicians accepting that by tolerating everything from hate marches to hate preachers, they have created this sickening mess, and time has run out for them to act. The law must change, fast, but so must society. The people spewing obsessive conspiracy theories about Jews, Zionists and Israelis are not social justice warriors, they are hateful bigots who are feeding this madness and must be stood up to and told as much by ordinary decent people.

@Con_Tomlinson @Lewis_Brackpool @Landeur ‘The bbc’! Can’t we have some names?! The writer? The commissioning editor? Don’t understand why people give them the luxury of anonymity. Do you think they’d extend that courtesy to you?

Mad that the BBC is now basing dramas on my mutuals @Lewis_Brackpool and @Landeur. It would be funny if this propaganda wasn't a pretext to treat critics of the state as no different than terrorists, and censor accurate reporting on the costs and crimes caused by immigration.

BBC running outright propaganda on The Capture tonight Making FOI requests is now adjacent to extremism? "He accused the Government of covering up the true stats on undocumented migrants"

@tempestvista Again ‘the bbc’. We do the people responsible such a favour by allowing them to hide behind ‘the bbc’. The writer? The commissioning editor? The sooner we start naming people, the sooner it will stop.

I don't have a faith but, if I did, I'm pretty sure my belief in my God would be able to withstand a bit of mockery and criticism - and, hey, even a cartoon - without me feeling the need to threaten to kill those mocking, criticising or drawing. But I guess that makes me a bigot.

If your Faith feels undermined by chocolate box branding, diverse TV adverts or 8 mins of public prayer at a 2 hour interfaith event, then it isn’t your Faith under attack, it’s your sense of control, your discomfort with difference, and your understanding of what Faith really is

@stellacreasy I know, you only wanted women to be able to kill their babies. If you think this is bad i can only imagine the abuse once we start getting reports of babies being killed.

I don't actually. Getting the levels of personal abuse on here is awful and anyone who enjoys it or perpetuates it needs to think why. I do try to debate the issues at stake because for the majority of people now lurking on this site I hope it gives some balance as to what else they read on here.

@montie @DanielCreminGB @stellacreasy @stellacreasy likes to dish it out too. If she can’t stand the heat…. What’s more wicked than killing unborn children?

@montie @stellacreasy It isn't any of that; it's the removal of the possibility of 'penal serviture for life' for women from the abortion law. That is all. Legal abortion is an entirely settled matter in this country, and this should be too, as part of it.

Some of the personal abuse that @stellacreasy has experienced in recent days has been off-the-scale. The abuse directed at women on social media is one of the most disturbing things I've learnt from being on this platform. It needs to be said, however, that this week's change in abortion laws - of which she is a prominent aupporter - is one of the most sickening changes to British society ever. It's now legal in this country to "terminate" up until birth. It's basically infanticide. We're killing babies that could easily survive outside the womb and it's been done without any meaningful public debate - piggy-backing as an amendment to a barely relevant bill. Dark. Dark in so many ways. I don't use the word "wicked" lightly but that's what this legislation is. And that so few people in this country even seem to care about what is now lawful is the saddest thing of all. "Great" Britain? Not while this law stands.

I want to say that as a UK citizen I do not find the Eid festivities and public prayer in any way disturbing. I find any suggestion that they are disturbing to be very offensive and un-British.
