✅ SOLD FOR $85,000 It's the biggest acquisition on TrustMRR so far (the marketplace is 45 days old). Here's the story. @yogesharc noticed something odd in May 2025: His own job board was getting traffic from ChatGPT. So he built a small tool to see when AI tools mention his site. Nothing fancy, just something he needed himself. He shipped an MVP in about a month. Launched it. First users came in. Then… nothing. Stuck around $500 MRR for months. Yogesh kept shipping features. Every week. Making the product a bit better each time. One week, it finally clicked. Revenue jumped. Then doubled again shortly after. On January 5th, 2026, he listed the startup on TrustMRR for $100,000. Offers started coming in. January 14th, 2026, he sold it for $85,000 to @fattbabakay, who’s building a small SaaS portfolio under @stackdirectory. Congrats to both of you 👏

Hollywood is going through a major cultural and creative reset, and Marc Andreessen thinks it’s long overdue. In this episode of Monitoring the Situation, Marc joins Erik Torenberg and Katherine Boyle to dissect the past decade of filmmaking, from the rise of “the message” in every movie to the return of genuine comedy and art. They cover the post-woke shift in Hollywood, the financial collapse of the streaming era, and why AI could spark a renaissance for a new generation of independent filmmakers. 00:00 Movies as modern myths 03:53 Why movies still matter 07:03 Taylor Swift, Scorsese & cultural artifacts 11:00 Streaming & the state of Hollywood post-COVID 27:41 Eddington: the first post-2020 real art film 48:49 AI in filmmaking & the future of creativity 52:26 Naked Gun revival and the return of humor 56:26 Fantastic Four and pro-family cinema 58:17 Could Atlas Shrugged be made today? @pmarca @KTmBoyle @eriktorenberg
