@CoachSwit I agree with you here. Greg Maddox proved it long ago that a pitcher with complete control can compete without a plus fastball

For all the velocity experts out there… So are we saying the pitcher who throws 85 mph, commands the zone, and can land two off-speed pitches for strikes anytime has no chance of playing D1 baseball? Or are we pretending those guys don’t still get outs? Just wondering?

@Starronthefly @CoachSwit I believe they pick up exit velos and post them for the pitcher.

@CoachSwit So how do you know the guns are correct? I've seen Perfect Game events (14U and under) where they have a kid throwing 83 when he's never in his life topped 71 on any other gun and other times where one gun has a kid only throwing 70'ish when another gun has him at 80.

I have had Travel Ball Coaches tell me their pitcher throws a certain speed and then I have used two radar guns to verify and it's 7-8 MPH off. I also know some other H.S. Coaches this happened to as well. To my College Coach followers out there are you seeing this too?
