Today I walked this 100k prefab SFD / ADU in North Hollywood. The guy who makes them placed 4 on his property as part of an SB-9 deal. He estimates install cost for all 4 units was another 100k. All in 500k.
Final sign off came from Inspector Lot.

I put a wooden bench on the sidewalk strip outside my home. Dozens of people sit here throughout the day because I live at the top of a very steep hill. particularly older people who need to catch their breath. The city just sent me a notice ordering me to remove it

@BriannaWu What I don’t get with women supporting this is, how do they not think that sex verification is harmful for all girls and women? It will always be women and girls asked for verification. There will be a lot of harm if they don’t fit the sexist norms of how they should look.

Everyone has seen the Gemini video - it’s incredible. Has anyone actually tried it? Google is not a vaporware offender, there are worse companies for that, but we all know that software products are rarely as advertised or demoed in the hands of unpredictable wetware.

I met a Black woman who works at OAI a few weeks ago. Kind of meaningless though, because our conversation suggested she had completely bought into AI as this safe, unbiasable thing—a very white perspective.
In order to keep it cordial, I cut the conversation short.
