Really Chuffed to finally get a semi decent pic of a Cetti's warbler , i usually get obscured views of wings, bill or tail 😅, strange to think they were once quite rare at the Lighthouse

Not quite the Easter weekend we had planned. Brian ended up in hospital on Saturday and had emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction. Hats off to all at #WarringtonHospital A&E once again. A couple of days on ICU but hoping to be on a ward later today.

Words fail me 🤬🤬 Some followers will be aware that in the middle of the woods stands a 200 year old chapel that marks a burial ground dating back over 400 years. In the last few days, someone in their wisdom decided try an damge this historic place 🤬 #RoeDeerDiary

The first Little Gull of the spring at Seaforth caught me and my camera settings by surprise this evening. Schoolboy error to not have the camera on the default spring Osprey setting. 😂 😎 #Spring

I have been away for a week- so lot's of interesting footage to review. Have you ever heard a pheasant actually tell a hare to 'Hop it'. No? Me neither😆 @RoeDeerDiary

@birderjack Just a thought Jackie. This singing and any further singing or calls might be worth keeping for sonograms to be made from them. @Turnershbo might be able to help. If could help prove the identity if it's in doubt. 😁
