@senatorbabet The government of Australia has a purpose and their purpose is to transfer wealth from the working class to the ruling class they discourage and they think poorly of anyone who is not in the political class. Any way to make us tax cattle moo more!!

Do you think the government knows more about aliens than what they are telling us? If you answered yes, why do you think they're hiding things from us?

@ryanlightbourn I’m keen to see frostblood4. The trip to the outpost on the snow speeder and getting a wad of snow in his face was very funny.

Frost Blood 3 won $10,000 in the Higgsfield Action contest last month. 3 days, $39... in the trading world we call that a 250x. The least I can do is make Frost Blood 4. I’ll package it with a nice, baity headline so the anti-AI crowd handles distribution again. ty❤️

I’m developing in JavaScript and threejs. I use UTM coordinates. WebGL is 32float. I had to use robust-predicates library for certain transforms (splitting triangulations) but for display I transform to 0,0,0 the model stays real-world and only the display is local. Display is only going to show real world coordinates but transformed. The split double and 64 bit is a memory doubling requirement. You probably know this anyhow. Unless you have written your own 3d renderer? Good luck your project looks cool.

@blastingapps I could also use 64 bit world coordinates, but that brings a bunch of other problems that I’d rather not do if I can avoid it

Floating point precision gets pretty bad at 500 kilometers from the origin point 😅 Working on an origin shifting system, but it's slow going, given my terrain system doesn't support it and I'm having to do a bunch of C++ wrangling, compiling, reloading ... not the fastest feedback cycle

They said AI would destroy art. The new He-Man movie cost $200,000,000. I made this in 5 days for $500. Imagine what $199,999,500 could do for world hunger. Just saying.

@KMkota0 @threejs I guess I could use it for a line? To make it thicker and then get rid of this stupid fat lines etc. ?? Would it be less intensive for the webgpu?

'Vaccine' set to be redefined in Australia via fast-tracked bill One of the 22 bills being rushed via guillotine motion through the Australian Senate this week is the National Health Amendment (Passive Immunological Products) Bill 2026. The bill proposes to amend the legal definition of “vaccine” so that new and emerging technologies can be listed on the National Immunisation Program. In his explanatory memorandum, Mark Butler notes that "the current definition of ‘vaccine’ in the Act supports the technical meaning of ‘vaccine’ being a substance administered to elicit an immune response – that is a mode of active immunisation. Immunisation products that do not elicit an immune response and provide protection through passive immunological means are unable to be listed on the NIP." "The Bill will broaden the definition of ‘vaccine’ in the Act to enable new and emerging technologies to be listed on the NIP. This amendment will expand access to these necessary products, ensuring the NIP is flexible and fit-for-purpose in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment." It seems that our government has learnt nothing from the mRNA vaccine disaster during COVID. The mRNA jabs do give an immune response - an autoimmune response that attacks the organs of the receiptant that causes serious harm. These lunatics have to be stopped. Sign up to Peoplefirstparty.au - we are the only party that can explain the biochemistry of mRNA vaccines to an unsuspecting public. Thanks to Michael Arbon for letting me know of this bill and his comments above.

Steve Jobs gave Tim Cook one piece of advice when he was named Apple CEO. "Never ask what I would do. Just do the right thing." "[Jobs] had watched Disney go through this paralysis of sitting around and talking about what Walt would do — and he did not want that for Apple."

🐘 trimesh-boolean v0.5.6 — The Heffalump Update 🐘 📚📚An open-source JavaScript library for triangle mesh boolean operations that works on open (non-watertight) surfaces — something no other npm package does. The latest updates (v0.5.4–0.5.6) bring some significant improvements: 🎯 Exact Arithmetic Predicates (v0.5.4) 🎯 Replaced floating-point orientation tests with exact arithmetic using robust-predicates and tiny-exact-math. 🎯 Eliminating the classification failures caused by floating-point rounding in degenerate triangle configurations, coplanar faces, near-zero edges, and sliver triangles that previously caused incorrect or missing intersections.) 🐘 Heffalump Classifier (v0.5.5) 🐘A new per-triangle classification strategy for meshes with defective topology 🐘 non-manifold edges, 🐘 fragmented boundaries, 🐘 cracks, and holes. Instead of relying on boundary walks (which break when the boundary is in 411 pieces), the heffalump asks a simpler question per triangle:  🧩 Closed other mesh? Ray-cast the centroid — odd crossings = inside.  🧩 Open other mesh? Find the nearest surface and check which side you're on. The Library also has interactive reclassification functions (reclassifyAtPoint, reclassifyRegion) so users can fix misclassified triangles with a click in a 3D viewer. This should help with the creation of valid outputs. ⭐️Working with terrain surfaces, DTMs, or any real-world mesh data, these are rarely clean or closed solids. Every other mesh boolean library in the JavaScript ecosystem requires watertight input. trimesh-boolean doesn't.  Check it out:  📦 npm install trimesh-boolean npmjs.com/package/trimes… 🔗 GitHub: github.com/brentbuffham/t…  🎮 Live Demo: brentbuffham.github.io/trimesh-boolea…
