Wiener reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor the crime for knowingly infecting someone with HIV, and removed the automatic requirement to register someone on the sex offender list for having sex with a minor if the age difference was less than 11 years (24 and 14 is OK for Scott Wiener)

If Congress fails to act, college sports could become a mini-NFL: 30 to 50 schools with real programs and everyone else left behind. That would be tragic for fans, schools, and the more than 500,000 student-athletes competing across America. College sports bring us together, but more importantly, they give young men and women a path to education and a brighter future.

While the $40M/week to Afghanistan was ended after the SIGAR Report, the Afghanistan-style mechanism (US → UN/NGOs → local taxes/controls/diversion to bad actors) still persists in other areas of the world. Taxpayer dollars need to stay home to help end terrorism in the world. I hope we remember this when the Iranian Affair is ended.
