Massie: “I’ll vote for the SAVE Act, but I think it’s a distraction from our real problems. I think it's ironic that we control the House, Senate, Supreme Court, and the White House, and we're yelling election fraud? I mean, we won all the damn elections.”

As a semi-retired worker making $14 per hour working for a charitable organization, this bill would likely eliminate my job. It is a bad idea. There are many people, like me, that are grateful for jobs that pay under $20 per hour. If jobs are paying too little, they don’t get filled. Let the market set wages.

Today I introduced legislation to require that the minimum wage be a living wage. $25 an hour is what’s required for a full time worker to pay their bills, and we shouldn’t accept that full time work leaves people living in poverty.

@VigilantFox If the pardon is valid, it should be clear what crimes that Mr. Fauci committed that the pardon applies to. If this is not true, I don’t know how the pardon could be valid. It makes no sense.

Rand Paul says he now has emails showing Fauci sent documents to Francis Collins with the instruction: "read it, then DESTROY it." "That is against the law. You're not allowed to do that in the executive branch." Paul says there is a good chance this could put Fauci behind bars because his pardon is too vague and too long to hold up in court: "I think there's a chance we'd win that... You can't give people some kind of pardon for everything." "His only argument is, 'Oh, it wasn't about government,' and it clearly was. I think a jury would [agree]."

@ElissaSlotkin Why won’t Michigan provide its voter rolls? What are they hiding? If the list of voters is legit, why not prove it? I don’t understand the reluctance to show there is no issues with the list of voters. As Nike says, just do it!

@RandPaul Regardless of the validity of the pardon, just fully expose Fauci’s guilt and the coverup by our government so the American people understand the wrong that happened. The good Lord will care for Mr. Fauci.

I've referred Fauci to the DOJ four times, twice under Biden, twice under Trump, and no action has been taken yet. But Biden's autopen pardon may not be worth the paper it's written on. Can you issue a blanket pardon for unspecified crimes over a 10-year period? I think the courts may say no. The fight isn't over. @mirandadevine

This is representative of how many people on the left are thinking. They clearly don’t have any understanding of the religious zealots that run the country of Iran.

@cabbageguy @RepThomasMassie North Korea has nukes. Iran isn't stupid to use nukes anyway. So you think they want to suicide themselves??

With that said, $300 billion would be a bargain to get out of this terrible mistake and avoid countless deaths and years of weakening our military. Consumers have already incurred $60 billion in increased fuel costs due to this foolhardy war.

The war with Iran is UNCONSTITUTIONAL. It’s also ILLEGAL under the 1973 WPA. Here’s how much of the $300 billion will come from American taxpayers: The U.S. will give foreign aid, military assistance, tariff exemptions, etc to countries that will in turn provide money to Iran.

The Dobbs decision was a cautionary tale.  Even though the Supreme Court allowed abortion over 50 years ago, we never legislated a woman's right to choose. If our grandparents had taken action on this issue, we would have reproductive freedom across the country. On the 4th anniversary of Dobbs the fight continues.

These poor babies who find it “alienating” that Republicans expect the losing side of a primary to get over themselves and unite to beat Democrats. Such a horrid burden they must bear.

Sen. @JohnCornyn on Lt. Gov. @DanPatrick calling him a sore loser: Proof that Texas GOP leaders are “‘basically continuing to alienate what I would call traditional conservative Republicans like me, and the people who voted for me. Makes no sense whatsoever.’” #txlege

@Castellani2014 I hope you’re right, but I don’t think anyone will get NBA players to play defense like college players do. If I were a betting man, I’d bet Dusty has a very similar experience in the NBA as Beilein did.

I did not think Belein would be successful when he went to the NBA. The situation wasn’t right for him and I felt like his style wasn’t going to fit. Dusty will work in Dallas.

@theblockm @umichbball @grahambarker0 I wish Dusty the best, but I fear he may have the same experience that Beilein had coaching in the NBA. The NBA players are just different animals than the college players. Time will tell.

@JakeSherman The creation of LIV separated the golfers after money from the golfers seeking a legacy. The result is not surprising to me at all. It is all about what motivates players.

Interrupt the U.S. Open coverage for a good story developing on the @LPGA Two years ago I wrote a story about Riley Smyth. At the time she was on the Epson Tour and didn’t have great status. FOUR times she was the 1st alternate on site and didn’t get into those events. Later that year she finally got a few chances and took advantage. Played great later in the year and kept her Epson card. Last season back on Epson she played great, had two wins and graduated to the LPGA. This is her rookie year and to say it has been a struggle would be an understatement. When I saw her at Mizuho she was 0 for 7. I saw her in the parking lot and said hello. And she stopped and talked. Nothing ground breaking, just that she wasn’t used to the courses, was struggling with her swing a bit, concentrating too much on the cut line, etc. But the easy thing would have been to avoid the conversation, instead she answered my questions for 10 mins. It was much appreciated. Last week she missed the cut in Midland MI at the team event by one. That brought her to nine events played….zero made cuts. This week in Grand Rapids she opened with a -2 70, followed that with another 70 and easily made the cut by three. And today….she shot a bogey free five-under 67 and will go into tomorrow T7. A win is likely out of the question, she is six back, but a solid round would go a LONG way in turning around her season. Here is to a good one.
