@caleeb_tyler @The_Acumen A mother’s child having a medical emergency IS an emergency for her because she’s a parent but this was something I procrastinated & an opportunity to teach consequences w/o it being too big a deal.

My son did this in 8th grade. I didn’t get the poster. Sometimes you gotta let your child deal with consequences and learn lessons from failure. Especially when it’s in a controlled situation like this, where the consequences seem dire to them, but aren’t fatal or truly harmful.
