Real talk… What do you do when people you’ve known forever basically cut you off because you’re openly pro-Trump/MAGA now? How do you handle that?

@it_unprofession Engaging consultancies tends to be as much about executive CYA as getting useful info. If an exec has his team do the work and they get it wrong, they're fired. If they pay a high priced consultancy and they get it wrong, they blame the consultants and keep their jobs.

We hired a consulting firm to tell us why our profits are down. They sent three 24-year-olds wearing vests. They spent two months interviewing us about our own jobs. Then they put our answers into a PowerPoint presentation. They charged us $250K for this privilege. During the final readout, one of them used the phrase synergy optimization without blinking. I looked around the conference room. Our CEO was nodding like he just received the Ten Commandments. The grand conclusion was that we need to increase revenue and decrease costs. I could've told them that for a gift card to Panera. But nobody listens to the guy who works here. You only listen to the guy who flies in on a Tuesday. I'm updating my resume to include synergy optimization. It feels like the right move.

Passenger side of car has a puddle of water, that’s the only part that’s wet I got into my car today and I noticed this big puddle of water only on the passenger side. @RepJohnRose We also know that the GOP is likely to lose one or both chambers in November, based on history. The Senate's inaction is all but assuring it. Trump is hemorrhaging support from independents and moderate Republicans who see the administration as failing to deliver on promises.

The difference between Republicans and Democrats in Congress is that Republicans don’t use their power when we have it, while Democrats will literally do anything to gain and retain power forever. Right now, our GOP-controlled Senate and House could be putting MAGA bills — starting with the SAVE America Act — on the floor every single day, forcing the Democrats to show how out of touch they are with Americans. We have the power to do that right now, so why aren't we? If the tables turn, not only will the Democrats force Republicans to vote on their radical agendas, they will use their majority to make sure they keep their power forever. The hour is late, it’s time to play hardball.

I'm leaning toward the latter with recent events that have come to light.

I think if Robert Wessels becomes the republican candidate for governor he could actually sway moderate democrats. He’s grass roots common fucking sense. He’d get more spotlight. I think old school democrats are actually looking for common sense and grass roots right now.

ADVICE TO SENATE REPUBLICANS No compromise with the Democrats.  They intentionally defunded and seek to shut down the TSA, Coast Guard, FEMA, and Secret Service. Republicans should turn to their biggest donors to raise the funds to run NONSTOP television, radio, and internet ads exposing the Democrats for what they're doing -- intentionally creating chaos, eliminating transportation security, eliminating protection on our coastlines, and so forth.  This should be very easy to do.  The Democrats are actively trying to confuse the public, with the help of their big media, claiming they want to fund these agencies but are blocked by the Republicans.  ENOUGH of their lies and propaganda.  TAKE THEM ON AND EXPOSE THEM!  They must not get away with this kind of horrendous blackmail and war on the public.

What people don't seem to understand is that John Thune is not the problem in the Senate. John Thune is the symptom of the problem in the Senate. The problem in the Senate is that we have too many establishment senators that have been there for decades and they don't like Trump. They're owned by the multinational corporations and don't want MAGA nationalism. If we get rid of Thune we'll just get someone else just like him.

@bennyjohnson Why is @POTUS so weak on this. Thune looks like the alpha dog. He's either lost his edge, or he doesn't want the SAVE Act passed and wants Thune to take the heat. In either case, he's bleeding support daily.

DHS Secretary Mullin says reconciliation can be used to finally secure our elections as U.S. citizens have overwhelmingly demanded: “There’s nothing more important than the SAVE America Act. That’s what the American people want. 80% of the population say they want only Americans voting.”

I’m not opposed to adjustments to social security. Raise the age slightly is fine but you can’t do it to anyone who is already within 15-20 years of retirement…they made plans and participated in the system they were given…
