The President of Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), Thiru C Vijay, has formally requested the Indian National Congress (INC) to extend its support for forming a government in Tamil Nadu. The people of Tamil Nadu, especially the youth, have delivered a very clear, strong and overwhelming verdict for a secular, progressive and welfarist government that believes in constitutional principles. They have chosen the Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) led by Mr. Vijay to form the next government. The Indian National Congress stands for, and is the founding political party for, secular, progressive and welfarist politics in India. It is our constitutional duty to respect, uphold and help fulfil this mandate of the people of Tamil Nadu. Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee and the Congress Legislative Party (CLP) has decided to extend its full support to the TVK to form the government. Our support shall be conditional upon the TVK keeping out from this alliance any communal forces that do not believe in the Constitution of India. Why have we been dependent, for years, on Colombo for cargo transshipment? Because we failed to create domestic deepwater ports to handle large container/cargo ships. Ports on mainland are supported by hinterland rail/road networks. Viability of a hub 2000 km in mid-ocean??

UDF: 39.47% ➡️ 46.54% 📈 LDF: 45.43% ➡️ 37.64% 📉 NDA: 12.41% ➡️ 14.20% 👉 Swing of ~14.86% - from LDF lead (+5.96%) to UDF lead (+8.90%) Why did this happen? • Strong anti-incumbency after years of governance • Growing public dissatisfaction on key issues (economy, jobs, services) • Perception of arrogance & disconnect from ground realities • UDF’s better booth-level strategy, coordination & voter outreach • Silent voter shift that didn’t reflect loudly but showed in numbers LDF didn’t just lose votes - they lost trust in crucial segments. And honestly, I expected NDA to cross 15% this time… even with the T20 alliance, that didn’t happen. Shows the real fight in Kerala is still bipolar. 9k lead in Lok Sabha for BJP, 3k lead in local body for BJP. That is, Vattiyoorkkavu was meant to be a sure seat for BJP this time, more than Chathannoor and Kazhakootam. Then KM came. Pushed BJP to third. I would be frustrated too man if someone did this to my party, it's ok.

वोट चोरी से कभी सीटें चुराई जाती हैं, कभी पूरी सरकार। लोकसभा के 240 BJP सांसदों में से, मोटे तौर पर हर छठा सांसद वोट चोरी से जीता है। पहचानना मुश्किल नहीं - क्या उन्हें BJP की भाषा में “घुसपैठिए” कहें? और हरियाणा? वहाँ तो पूरी सरकार ही “घुसपैठिया” है। जो संस्थाएँ अपनी जेब में रखते हैं, जो मतदाता सूचियों और चुनावी प्रक्रिया को तोड़-मरोड़ देते हैं - वो ख़ुद “remote controlled” हैं। उन्हें असली डर सच्चाई का है। क्योंकि निष्पक्ष चुनाव हो जाएँ, तो आज ये 140 के पास भी नहीं जीत सकते।
