blausky has been awesome so far- real connections and engagement, no algorithmic fuckery, and being free from botted trolls has been a revelation HMU on there, same handle! (not linking cuz you know Leon is having a pissy pants tantrum over here)

#elon's recent buffoonery is a great excuse to leave twitter. no one is advertising one here because he's a divisive megalomaniac and a terrible product leader to boot. Threads and #mastodon are fantastic alternatives. There's far less right wing fuckery going on over there.

Both interactions and people are generally more genuine, and not having to fight a monetization/ragebait-focused algorithm has been a breath of fresh air. It's also just a depressing cesspool over here and nothing that Elon is doing is going to make it better.
