UK energy costs are now 4x higher than in the US. Not double. Not triple. Four times. And we’re told this is “progress”. Factories are shutting. Investment is leaving. Jobs are disappearing. Why? Because Labour is pushing Ed Miliband’s Net Zero lunacy at any cost. Shutting down our own energy. Blocking North Sea drilling. Forcing reliance on expensive imports. Then acting surprised when bills explode. This isn’t climate policy. It’s economic self-harm. Other countries back their own energy. Britain punishes it. This is ideology over common sense. And we’re all paying the price.

I don’t know why anyone bothers to go to work nowadays as Rachel Reeves says only people on benefits will get help with their energy bills & middle income people will get nothing. It’s really getting to the stage that benefit claimants get more than working people which is just so wrong.

China and Croatia, along with Greece, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and Thailand, have now introduced price caps! Taiwan absorbs 60% of price hikes through a government mechanism. Germany and Austria limit how often stations can raise prices. France has introduced price ceilings and increased inspections to prevent gouging. Many other countries are using alternatives such as VAT or excise tax cuts (e.g., Spain, Portugal, Sweden), subsidies, or stockpiles rather than direct caps The economy, businesses, and motorists are suffering right now. I predict that inflation will increase by 0.3% due to the March pump-price rip-offs. So, I repeat, why are we waiting a month to know what the hell this government plans to do to relieve the cost-of-living crisis?
