@nationalrailenq That info was incorrect according to station staff at TM. Thankfully we were able to make our own arrangements to escape the complete chaos there.

If you first make your way to Bristol Parkway, there are shuttle services as well as ticket acceptance on Transport for Wales and CrossCountry trains between Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central. @closepassescdf Hi there. Currently, a fire next to the track between Pilning and Patchway means the line is blocked. Trains running between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway / Bristol Temple Meads may be delayed by up to 30 minutes, cancelled or diverted.

@ceritheviking M25, M5, M3, M6, M42. I drive those motorways on occasion. All are perpetually congested at certain times. Sometimes multiple times a day. The idea that all motorways can somehow be 'fixed' doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

For those wanting a new m4 around Newport. My return journey up the m5 is currently predicting delays at bridge water, Weston. Portishead and Severn beach. New m5 too? This is regular also. Just maybe it’s how we travel that needs more tweaking than giant new roads ?

In W Sussex. Cycled #SalternsWay to the Witterings & back. On the B roads, 9 out of 10 drivers fine. Why 1 driver in 10 leave fuck all space overtaking us? What's the issue, when everyone else is perfectly competent?

The data is clear, road traffic pollution was decreasing year after year in Wales... UNTIL Labour's 20mph zones were introduced. Now, half of tested areas show an increase in emissions inside 20mph zones. Time to SCRAP them.

Across Cardiff, in four different directions, bike is quicker than car and public transport (as well as being a hell of a lot cheaper and waayyy more pleasant - even taking into account the small minority of dickhead drivers). cardiffcyclecity.org/2024/08/02/car…

@LSRiverside I've seen driving that's terrible, careless, incompetent, ragey - all kinds of adjectives. But I can't remember another instance of driving that genuinely just seemed to defy explanation. He wasn't obviously angry, gained nothing by it, and it too a *lot* of effort .

In the car earlier, doing 30mph in the 30 zone on Llanedeyrn Rd. Driver behind overtakes me doing 40 to then sit on bumper of car 20 yds in front of me before turning right after about 100 yds. Most inexplicable bit of driving I've ever seen 🤪

@scowlingmonkey Not only did this gain him nothing, it was such a huge effort for nothing. Bloke in his 60s. Maybe ticking off items on a particularly shit bucket list.

@closepassescdf Every single person in the last week who has dangerously overtaken me at speed (more than the limit) has ended up just ahead stopped at a traffic queue, at lights, or waiting to turn onto another road. Utterly impatient, pointless, and irresponsible behaviour.
