DSD/intersex conditions are *male or female specific disorders.* These are a bunch of congenital conditions that affect the reproductive system. These conditions, again, are male and female specific.

Some aren't born with a vagina, some don't have XX chromosomes, some can't give birth, and some have high testosterone.

@BrettBP1 @speakoutsister @FrankyCandide I think they relied heavily on the LGB to carry them. Too many people conflate the two groups and get stuck in the “be kind” guilt. I think it was a missed opportunity for trans people to find acceptance without losing sight of common sense boundaries and science.

Men do not have vaginas, an inverted penis will never be a vagina. An underdeveloped penis is not a vagina. Women are not regressive stereotypes.

Exactly, plus men who identify as women were allowed to be leaders, parents were not told. In terms of safeguarding these men were treated as women e.g. if your daughter pees her pants at camp and needs help changing, this man as per their policies was allowed to accompany her to wash and change. Women leaders were also allowed to sleep in the same dorms as these children, these men were treated as women. GG keep no data on these men, and the only criteria for his inclusion was his word for it. It has been a staggering safeguarding breach for years, and women who raised the alarm were ostracised and expelled from Guides.

@Heccles94 The reason is in the name. Girl Guides is for girls. It’s a data driven reality that girls need to be protected from potential abuse by boys. Letting boys who think they’re girls into girls guides crosses the common sense boundary. But you know this, you’re just being facetious.

Can someone tell me how banning trans children from girl guides protects women’s safety?
