Because of the U.S. embargo, I got my assets frozen for 6 months and $6,000 taken from our donation to help people after a rare tornado hit La Habana. I couldn’t pay my bills, had to take loans from my family. I know personally how the U.S. embargo can affect people. And even with all of that, the greatest wish for Cuba I have is to see it free Free from socialism. Free from dictatorship. (P.s. they still, 7 years later, have the $6000 donation).
