Trump spent billions only to replace a frail, 86-year-old Ayatollah with a 56-year-old, battle-hardened veteran of the Iran–Iraq War. What is now clear is this: neither America nor Israel can say with certainty that Iran’s nuclear programme has been destroyed. Iran still retains its enriched uranium. It has not even deployed its ground forces or air power. Meanwhile, Israel—Tel Aviv in particular—has suffered severe devastation. Trump and his inner circle will, no doubt, attempt to spin this outcome.

It is very hard, and frankly comical, to be a Donald Trump supporter. He repeatedly embarrasses those who back him. He started the reckless war with Iran on the claim that he wanted to destroy its nuclear programme, insisting that Iran was only weeks or months away from developing a nuclear weapon. Then, in June 2025, he declared that the programme had been “obliterated” and that there was no longer any nuclear threat from Iran. Now he is saying that after those same bombings on 2025, Iran’s nuclear material was not even touched. So what exactly was this war about? That is why we said from the beginning that this war was reckless and pointless, with no clear or coherent objective, driven more by his alignment with Benjamin Netanyahu than by any credible strategic goal. It exposes inconsistency, poor judgement, and a lack of seriousness in decision-making at the highest level. Before the war, Iran was under heavy sanctions and did not control the Strait of Hormuz or restrict global shipping through it. The conflict has instead heightened tensions in the region, destabilised energy markets, and contributed to rising global fuel prices, which in turn drive inflation worldwide. What we are seeing is not strength, but the consequences of ill-considered decisions that have made an already volatile situation even more unpredictable. Today, Iran is no longer under oil sanctions, which were lifted as part of ongoing negotiations during the war after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz backfired by driving oil prices sharply higher. In order to allow the flow of oil and tame the rising oil prices, the United States was forced into concessions. Today, Iran exercises significant control over the Strait of Hormuz, managing passage under military oversight and proposing transit fees for ships. The war has actually created problems that were not there before it was started. Talk about an incompetent and daft leader, all rolled into one and found in the White House.

🇮🇷🇴🇲 The Strait of Hormuz will have a toll booth for the first time in history... The ceasefire agreement includes allowing both Iran and Oman to charge fees on ships transiting the Strait. Iran will use the revenue for reconstruction. The world never paid to use this waterway before tonight. Iran went to war with the most powerful military on earth and came out of it with something no nation has ever had: a formal revenue stream from 20% of the world's oil supply passing through its waters. 🚨🇺🇸 Trump accuses CNN of running a fraudulent Iranian statement claiming Iran "forced the US to accept its 10-point plan," including lifting all sanctions, withdrawing all U.S. forces, and recognizing Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz. Trump says the article was sourced from a fake news site in Nigeria and that authorities are investigating whether "a crime was committed." If the statement is fake, someone deliberately planted a story designed to blow up the ceasefire within hours of it being announced. Think about who benefits from that. Trump just agreed to pause. Iran just agreed to reopen the Strait. Pakistan just invited both sides to Islamabad. And within minutes, a headline drops claiming the U.S. surrendered to every Iranian demand, perfectly designed to enrage Americans and humiliate Trump into walking away from the deal. Whether it came from Nigeria or anywhere else, the timing alone should make everyone ask who wanted this ceasefire to fail before it even started...

Those C-130s were not on a search and rescue operation for the pilot. That airstrip they used was hundreds of kilometers away from the F-15 crash site. Trump & Hegseth thought they could set up a ground operation using commandos to try a Venezuela and steal uranium but got shot at and attacked by the Iranians and ran out of Iran like rats. Those C130 planes were clearly shot out of the sky by local soldiers and villagers 😂😂 Those charred rotors show that they were in some kind of rotation when those birds crashed Hegseth fired the generals who were refusing to engage in these kinds of adventures, and tried it but it then didn’t go so well 😂
mmatigari@matigary

Their narrative doesn’t add up 😂. This claim is: •They supposedly flew in, established a secret landing site, brought in two C-130s, then pushed 35 miles to a remote mountain to recover a severely wounded pilot. •After that, they ran the same 35 miles back—across open terrain—carrying the injured pilot while engaged in a nighttime firefight. •Then, upon returning, the two C-130s were somehow immobilized in the sand (there sure is no sand there 😂😂) at the original landing site. •The force continued fighting until three additional C-130s and more troops, arrived to extract them. •Then they, before leaving, destroyed the original aircraft to prevent them from falling into Iranian hands. Doesn’t add up !!

Mupfanha wangu, understand that not everyone benefits from mbingas and ZANU-PF like you . The 2023 Afrobarometer survey proved that most ZANU-PF supporters are in rural areas, struggling to survive on less than $1 a day. Despite that reality, uchiri kutaura zvekumama. Individuals like you are the reason our national progress is constantly stalled
C. H. MUKUNGUNUGWA@CMukungunugwa

Honestly, I think these are just money-making schemes. No one is still paying attention to this drama anymore. Zimbabweans are more focused on making money and taking care of their families. No one is going to rise up, because people are content with their lives and with the current leadership.

@UtdForever7 Can’t you see his brother has become quiet since they forced a move to Chelsea? Garnacho is enjoying his time on the bench at Chelsea, let him be, we don’t care about him anymore.

🚨Kobbie Mainoo & Alejandro Garnacho’s decision-making since last summer has impacted their chances of playing at the World Cup. Mainoo barely played under Rúben Amorim and wanted a loan to clubs like Napoli for minutes. Fast forward — Amorim was sacked, Mainoo became a regular under Michael Carrick, returned to the England setup, and now looks set to make the World Cup squad. Garnacho, on the other hand, pushed hard for a move to Chelsea and was even ready to sit on the bench just to force it. There were many other teams interested in him that were ready to give him guaranteed minutes, but he chose Chelsea. That decision backfired. He wasn’t guaranteed to start at United long-term, and he wouldn’t have nailed a spot at Chelsea either with the competition there. Now he is sitting on the bench for Chelsea more than ever and it’s not even in the consideration to be called for Argentina — and all this because of his ego off thinking himself like he is the best player to ever exist. #MUFC

I HAVE A ASK: How does borehole tax improve water supply to residents? What is the link between taxing a hole I have bored alone because of gasping municipal tapes, and my having uninterrupted flow of water the morning after? More so when the levying institution has nothing to do with water body-building or water supply???

I agree with Maloti on this one. Originality remains one of the most powerful assets an artist can have. While foreign music continues to inspire and entertain audiences worldwide, it is important for artists to resist the urge to imitate it. When an artist chooses to create within globally dominant genres like hip hop, comparisons become inevitable often against industry giants such as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, or 50 Cent. Competing at that level is extremely challenging and can make it difficult to stand out. However, artists who embrace and develop original Zimbabwean sounds and genres position themselves uniquely not only locally, but also on the global stage. Authenticity creates distinction, and distinction builds lasting recognition. We have seen this with artists like Jah Prayzah, Feli Nandi, and Alick Macheso, whose success is rooted in originality. While excelling in foreign genres is not impossible as demonstrated by Winky D it requires exceptional talent and consistency that not every artist can replicate. In essence, originality is not just a creative choice it is a strategic one. Artists who remain authentic to their identity are more likely to build sustainable and impactful careers.
