In 2020 Ron Desantis changed the state law so that the GOVERNOR could run for PRESIDENT without being required to resign . The law, however, continued to prohibit any other STATE elected official from running for FEDERAL office without their resignation being required. Today he says he's against "predetermined outcomes" for the Republican nomination for Governor. What an asshole.
