18 drivers thought it was acceptable to use mobile phones this morning! 4 also thought they didn't need a seatbelt during Team 3's op. Sgt Shepherd said: "People don't seem to be getting the message. Fatal 4 offences can cost you your life. We will enforce them everyday."

@JimWhite after listening to your conversation yesterday re international games, and long flights, I think all games should be played over the middle weekend of the break, not during the week either side. This would give players time to travel, and recover. David, Brighton fan

@CANSEEngland @SurreyRS Maybe have a chip in the licence, which you insert into the vehicle, before it will start. Not a difficult idea, but it would stop people without licences driving

@SurreyRS There needs to be a technological solution to stop disqualified & similarly dangerous drivers being able to get into a car and drive. It's a waste of your resources to have to process these offenders again, and a risk to other road users while dangerous drivers continue to drive.

When things couldn't get any worse, this driver was stopped AGAIN by the same #SPCasualtyReduction officer in Camberley. Driver still had no licence, no insurance & tested positive for a third time for cannabis on a #DrugWipe. Vehicle seized & driver off to custody again. #Fatal5

We stopped this vehicle 72hrs ago in relation to other offences & advised the driver to TAX his vehicle as it hasn't had TAX since Aug 2024. He was stopped again today, the driver ignored our advice & his vehicle was seized. #trafficdepartment #dvla #27664 #27358

This van was initially stopped on the southbound M6 for lane hogging. Further inspection by our PG9 trained vehicle examiners identified numerous dangerous defects, we have therefore prohibited the van until it has passed a full MOT. #Team3RCT #saferlanes #OpLightning
