For the past couple of days I've been working on an app that translates anything on your screen in real time, and it runs entirely local on your system, no internet needed. It uses a two-step approach: first it extracts text from your screen using an OCR model, then sends that to a translation model and overlays the output right on top of the original text. Still early stage so there are bugs, next steps are squashing those and refining the UX/UI. 👇

so I caught my friend juggling three different tabs while using claude the other day. I asked him, "dude, why the constant account hopping?" he just looked at me and said, "i'm not paying $100 a month for extra messages."

How does the compact function in Codex work? The context window seems to be a quarter of Claude's size, doesn't really show me when it's compacting, and doesn't seem to degrade as much as Claude. Wizardry? Can someone explain?
