@RepBice I have been to your office several times in the last few years to discuss maternity care in OK. 53% of births in OK are Medicaid. Maternity care deserts in a majority of our counties. Maternal mortality up. And you vote to cut $880 billion from Medicaid/Medicare. Disappointing.

Tired of being the perpetual ally and NEVER getting the same in return. I’m not comforting anyone. I’m not wiping anyone’s tears. I don’t want to see any blue bracelets or pussy hats. It’s performative. Do the work. Protecting my peace moving forward. Let it burn to the studs.

You know what's getting old? Having you and your father politicize gun violence. Unlike your children that you are using for this purpose, my daughter was killed in the Parkland shooting. I remember when your dad also politicized her murder. How about instead of your BS, use this as your chance to call for less gun violence.

In June I spoke at the US Capitol with @RepMaxwellFrost, @RepBarbaraLee, @JosephSakran about gun violence. Families have to go home without their children tonight. I pray for their peace. I hope that peace comes with change. When will the mounting bodies of children be enough?
