@dompalumbo22 Not their fault. They scheduled tough in the non conference and have beaten some great teams. Only losses in 2 years are to 2024 champ Cleveland St. Ignatius, 2025 champ Olentangy Orange and 2023-26 champ Lutheran East Pretty good!

Westerville North has a unique opportunity today. No local team has won back-to-back state titles since Columbus Wehrle in 1989-90 (the last two of a three-peat) The last existing school to go back to back was Bishop Ready in 1972-73 East was the last before that in 1968-69

I’ll admit I’m late to the party here as an early supporter of 7 divisions. I let it play out for a couple years & I’ve done a full 180. Preaching to the choir for most of you, but there’s teams playing at Regionals this week that wouldn’t make it out of Sectionals in 4 divisions. Going to the 9 Regional games at BGSU was one of the best weeks of the year for me for the last 15 years—my excitement level for the 9 games there this week is nonexistent. Some of these games I’d put 30-pt spreads on. District Final Saturday used to be the best day of the tournament, now it’s littered with blowouts. OHSAA has completely ruined it.

In the 7 division era, New Albany has now won back-to-back district titles after not winning one since 2006 (when they used to be D2. Licking Heights has also won back to back after never winning one And Westerville North has won 6 local tourney games by 260 points

Ohio State transfer Mylan Graham says the biggest adjustment has been academics. When I asked what’s different: “Not too different, You just have to actually go in person… at Notre Dame obviously everybody knows how it is with academics”

@CommonManRadio It’s who they have been all year. The teams with a pulse, Texas, Indiana and Miami, they couldn’t do crap on offense.
