@matpolloy Pretty sure i saw some TCW behind-the-scenes segment where they talked about this. Writers didn't really know how to to deal with him being explicitly shown to execute Order 66 without question in RoTS. So using him more in the show would humanise him too much or smth.

@BleachedRaptor2 eh, i can kinda excuse that as normal behaviour for men literally bred for war. They see conflict and danger everywhere, no wonder they'd fantasise about killing the most skilled combatants they meet, even tho they're allied.

One of the reasons I don’t care for Star Wars Legends originally saying “order 66 was just one of a bunch of orders! No one thought they’d use it!” is that stuff like BF2 make it clear the clones 100% were preparing to use it

I never watched The Acolyte but yesterday I saw a complaint about it saying it didn’t make sense fundamentally as the sith were meant to be extinct for 1,000 years and the show is set 100 years before TPM What?

It's also because the jedi order was losing touch with their principles and becoming more disconnected from the force. The jedi being too incompetent to deal with this sith is why the force made Anakin.

Say what you will about Attack of the Clones but everytime I hear people complain about the plot of the prequels it just always sounds like that Cosmonaut guy explaining the steps of Palpatine’s assassination plan and calling it dumb because Palpatine wasn’t directly tied to it

@posting_forever Also, apparently the harry potter films were all shot on 35mm film. It may come as a surprise to the people that are still obsessed with Harry Potter, but 70mm is twice the size of 35mm, which means IMAX scans will always be more detailed. Anyways, imo that stuff doesn't matter.
