Agreed with most of this video, but it got me thinking about a bigger problem with Modern Zombies where I feel like they'll add a lot of things to the game to make things more "convenient" for players, but I think sometimes in gaming, convenience is a bad thing. Of course that does not mean every instance of convenience is bad (obviously), but a lot of what made Classic Zombies so good was inconvenience. Inconveniences forces players to switch up their strategies mid-game, or learn specific mechanics. Sometimes, things taking longer or harder to achieve, makes it more fun. This only works if the process is actually fun though of course. A good example for gaming in general is open-worlds. Imagine if Red Dead Redemption 2 let you fast travel to any part of the map whenever you wanted. Obviously that would be VERY convenient, but it would absolutely kill the creative vision of wanting players to explore the map and traverse on the horse. Everyone would just fast travel to every location to save time.
