@ateschgah در واقع چون از کنش هایِ لحظه ای و گسسته در شبکه هایِ مجازی میاد، پس بیشتر تمایل به دادن و گرفتنِ hate وجود داره؛ تا این که به طور پیوسته ورزیده بشه!

@ateschgah دلیلش اینه که اینجا، hate نقشِ اسم داره و نه فعل. به همین دلیل به جایِ «کردن» از «دادن» استفاده میشه. درست مشابه با این که بعضیا میگن «طرف عشق داد بهم منم بهش عشق دادم.» یعنی هم عشق و هم hate دادنی و گرفتنی شده!!

این «هیت دادن» یعنی چی؟ hitـه؟ heatـه؟ hateـه؟ چرا با فعلِ «دادن» استفاده میشه؟ کی وارد ادبیات فارسی شد؟

Looking for a postdoc position in a timing research lab starting this Summer or Fall (2025)! I do scalp and stereo EEG but I'd love a grant-writing-heavy position if anyone has one available :)

Figured out how to describe my experience in Europe: In the East, "indirect speech and metaphors" cause misunderstandings, while in the West, "surface-level politeness" twists the true meaning. Now comment, is this tweet more metaphorical or polite?

@dvwz Great paper! I’ve been wondering about something fundamental—after doing all this alpha-related work, do you think it’s time to separate peak frequency and spatial aspects of alpha into two different mechanisms? or are you more in the camp that there’s just one alpha?

I just posted a major piece of my graduate research, where we used global coherence (previously used with EEG recordings of general anesthesia) to characterize coherent networks of alpha oscillations in disorders of consciousness medrxiv.org/content/10.110…

@Nathan_Spreng @OHBM @jmacshine There should have been at least some mention of oscillations and how important they are in cognition and nonlinear dynamics. I don’t have a specific reference, but I was mostly thinking about the bigger picture, and there are plenty of references out there for that
