@MuseumCommodore Always preferred GGS to SMB. I love both, but as you said, the music made the game so much more enjoyable and it's still one of my most favorite game tunes ever composed.

It started as a quick cash-in on the Mario craze but became a C64 cult classic! Rainbow Arts’ cheeky UK box art taunted, “The brothers are history!” — and Nintendo noticed. After the May 1987 release (C64 original first), they sent a strongly worded complaint detailing the similarities to Super Mario Bros. No full lawsuit, but an out-of-court settlement followed: the game was yanked from stores almost immediately. The UK physical copies are now ultra-rare collector’s items, yet piracy made sure the game survived and thrived! Legendary C64 composer Chris Hülsbeck (who later scored Turrican) created the music for the game; some say it made the game the mega hit it was. It certainly helped! @ClassicCompShop @eBay I exchanged my Stealth 220 for this exact model and was amazed. They were still struggling against the competition until the V770 model with Riva TNT2 hit the market and then nVidia released the Detonator drivers. The chip's output went from good to godlike in a single install.

@MuseumCommodore Scramble ... took me an entire summer and a small fortune to finish it and set the local hi-score, but it was so worth it.

@howie_hua Percentages are reversible so if one is a relatively round number it is easy to calculate by reversing: 95% of 300 = 300% of 95 ... so 3x95 = 285

It's Mental Math Monday! How would you mentally calculate 95% of $300?

Giving players the options to choose from is never bad as long as you can turn them off easily (with a couple of clicks) and the act of choosing doesn't become tedious it self (by giving too many meaningless options). Ask yourself ... will this make the game better for people who like it and also, will this make the game worse for people who don't if, they have the option to just click it off with a few clicks? For what the default should be, just do a survey before launch :)

Are there camps of loving and hating underglow and LED-lighting - and would you leave a bad Steam review if the game allowed it?? :D

Did you know? The new TheC64 Mini Black Edition from Retrogames Ltd comes pre-loaded with firmware version v1.7.0 This is an upgrade over the original TheC64 Mini's and the Full Size TheC64 Firmware v1.6.1. Could an update be coming for these soon? (I am not associated with RGL... just a fan)
