The DOJ's indictment of the Southern Poverty Law Center is a chilling attack on civil rights advocacy. "Trump's DOJ has been weaponized by dangerous forces. Every organization and individual engaged in social justice should be alarmed. What we are seeing in real time is an administration seeking to leverage its position to target individuals and organizations that do not agree with its political thought." — NAACP President and CEO @DerrickNAACP Stand with us. We're urging every advocate to speak out and encouraging every voter to make their voices heard loud and clear in November during the midterm elections. naacp.org/articles/weapo…

McBride: "We’re telling him [Trump]... hands off our kids! Hands off women’s rights!" It's like a comedy skit

The Senate just greenlit billions of taxpayer dollars to fund transgender experimentation on our kids. The House must act to stop this abomination once and for all

CASE UPDATE from @NewYorkFBI: The Justice Department announced the unsealing of an indictment charging Gannon Ken Van Dyke, a U.S. Army soldier, with unlawful use of confidential government information for personal gain, theft of nonpublic government information, commodities fraud, wire fraud, and making an unlawful monetary transaction. The police just came to my office and confiscated all my firearms. Just happened.

This involved a U.S. soldier who allegedly took advantage of his position to profit off of a righteous military operation. Thank you to our agents, Intel teams, and great partners @TheJusticeDept who protected our war fighters. Investigation ongoing.

The Southern Poverty Law Center is now tied to a federal fraud indictment—serious allegations involving money, deception, and what was really happening behind the scenes. And I keep coming back to the same question that the larger media outlets seem to be conveniently ignoring: How does something like that happen… and no one on the inside sees it? Jocelyn Benson was connected to that organization during her career. She SITS ON the board of the organization. So it’s not out of line to ask—what did she know, and when did she know it? But here’s the part that really doesn’t sit right: Why is nobody else talking about this? At the same time, her own office is facing race discrimination allegations from employees, now in court. That’s not speculation—that’s happening. Individually, these are serious issues. Together, they start to paint a picture people can’t ignore. Clearly there’s a pattern here with @JocelynBenson. This isn’t about politics. It’s about accountability and about keeping individuals with bad intentions out of public office. And when the same name keeps coming up around controversy, people deserve answers—not silence. themidwesterner.news/2026/04/southe…
