And the Democrat controlled states were nasty to Blacks. By 1970, the situation had improved there & GOP gradually brought in freedoms

In 1946 Isaac Woodard Jr. a decorated WW II Veteran was attacked hours after being honorably discharged from the Army. He was attacked in uniform by police as he was taking a bus home. He was also denied his GI Bill benefits. Black veterans were targeted for brutality and denied benefits after fighting for this country. Systemic inequity stifled the ability to gain wealth. Once upon a time the GI Restoration Act was introduced. It would have given benefits to the descendants of these veterans to right these wrongs. Republicans voted against it. #DemsUnited #BlackHistoryWithLana

@Swilsonn36 @Bbmorg Trump wants a lot a settles for less as less is better than nothing. Not hard to understand. He is probably happy that Europe and Canada will, maybe, be helpful if Russia or China attacks Greenland. He want minerals but that can be purchased later as long as Greenland is free.

@eric_rathmann @Bbmorg Not because of NATO obligations. It was retaliation for the Houthis attacking a British destroyer and because the US wasn't threatening to annex Greenland for months prior. Having good relations with your allies actually means something, someone should have told Trump.

@Marty_prr @Bbmorg OK. But that seems unfortunate. I remember France and Lafayette as well as Gen Steuben. Many are acting as if Trump ruined a lot for the rest of history rather than a temporary person, gone shortly, and most of his actions are easier overturned. We should remember and move on.
