It’s a tough sell. Home cooking like you said. And the Russian should’ve done more but Kelly was really trying to avoid the fight. Also the math doesn’t add up to the narrative that “he outboxed him”. Kelly got outlanded 93-75 and 61-33 in power punches. He only outlanded the Russian in 4 rounds and was never the aggressor. Importantly, he got outlanded 12-6 in the 12th. Coincidently, the 10-10 from the British judge won him the fight. Otherwise it would have been a majority draw.

Not funny, just uninformed. I stay in the gym and keep myself busy because it’s how I manage PTSD, anxiety, and panic attacks. When I’m not doing something constructive, my mind drifts to places I can’t control. Ever since I lost my daughter in 2009, training and fighting have been therapeutic for me. Ironically, right before I even saw this comment, I was sending my 12-year-old daughter a voicemail wishing her the best holiday season because I haven’t been able to see her in quite some time. This time of year isn’t easy for everyone, so I choose to keep my mind focused and my body moving. This has honestly been one of the best years of my life, and I’m at peace with who I am and where I’m at. You’re free to joke from the comments, but that’s the real reason. I’m good in my own skin. Merry Christmas.
