No one is freaking out over a few pieces of equipment. When a country spends nearly a trillion dollars a year on its military, protecting our troops should be the bare minimum. The U.S. already has the systems, so the real question is why they weren’t in place. Every base is supposed to have layered defenses, especially if you’re the one striking first and know retaliation is coming.
