Design is the only job where “keep it simple” is the hardest brief and “do whatever you want” is the scariest one.

@Howaboua i’ve noticed this weird pattern. the amount someone whines about limits + hates on a particular provider is inversely proportional to me knowing what they do (ie, see their actual work w/ all that spend).

Stop moaning about Codex limit and: 1. Switch off subagents 2. Stop using /goal for stupid shitposting on X 3. If you must, get a 200 sub. It's for powerusers. 4. Switch to Pi. 1k tokens startup cost anyone? 5. SLOW THE FUCK DOWN

i think one thing people intentionally or unintentionally leave out is that it takes a certain level of stupidity (for a lack of better articulation) to achieve anything meaningful. there’s something that the youth just have where you’re like, fuck it we ball. again, like any demographic there are going to be more failures than not. and experience has rarely been a fracture point in startup failure. also cool call out about the bias in the average age being ~30. that’s just skewed data. it’s the same people asking indian youth to come back and build at home, that force them out in the first place. it’s cute.

You can hire expertise. You can't hire obsession. A 22 year old can make a 40 year old expert their third hire. What you can't hire is someone who won't walk away when walking away is the smart move. The "decade of experience" thing was real for SaaS. But AI is what, four years old? Nobody has ten years in it. So a 34-year-old isn't sitting on a decade of AI either. Right now anyone can build something great. "34 is the average" just tells you who gets funded. Send the cheques to 22 year olds and watch the average move. It's a mirror, not a founding law. We've done young before. OYO at 19. Flipkart, Zomato, Ola, Razorpay, all of it started in someone's 20s. And the ones who won't wait don't argue. They flip to Delaware, build in SF, and the money follows them out. We push them away at seed and buy them back at Series C, in dollars. Your point's fair, nobody missed it. I just don't want us telling people to wait until they've already gone.
Kae Capital@KaeCapital

The average Indian founder who builds something that lasts is 34 at founding. Not 22. Not fresh out of IIT. 34, with a decade of domain experience, a real professional network, and enough savings to not need a salary for 18 months. The myth of the young founder is a Valley import that has never fit India as well as the ecosystem pretends.

Spent 20 mins faking a perspective mockup in Figma? Stop. → perspectivemock.vercel.app Drop in a screenshot, tilt it in 3D, animate it with keyframes, export an MP4. No login. No watermark. No upload. Just ridiculously good product shots.
Kailash@kail_designs

Need a brand logo? This probably has it. → thesvg.org One of the biggest libraries of brand logos. Browse across categories like: • AI • accessibility • auth • automotive • architecture Export in: • React / HTML / CSS / Next.js • SVG / WebP / raster Probably every logo you’ll ever need.

oh master, what’s rational in anything you said? calling ai a glorified chat bot doesn’t seem very rational now, does it mate? i haven’t heard a single argument from you against it, apart from it’s a chat bot. and chat bot ai was the “thing” back in 2022. talking about assumptions, 1/ you're making an assumption calling ai a chatbot. 2/ anything w/ mills and turns=value. there sure must be plenty mills and turns behind the scenes on X (and the internet) that you must know about, for you to be on here and think it of value. and calling someone retarded 2 messages into a conversation tells me enough about your "rational thinking" faculties.

@evxnche first you falsely assume I haven't used anything marketed as "ai" and then you assume I'm using some software from 2022. both assumptions can't be true. please learn how to think rationally. it apparent that you're impressed with glorified chat bots because you're retarded.

rubbish. all revolutionary tech starts off expensive and inaccessible to the masses (but today we have VCs and so instead of inaccessible it becomes subsidised). take the car, take electricity (or any electrical applicance). matter of fact, computers were incredibly expensive and a pain in the ass to maintain. to up an entire room, needed air conditioning, broke all the time and was “economically unsustainable”. stop with the rage baiting.

The AI numbers are starting to look very ugly. Even under "best case" assumptions, FT's own data shows Microsoft AI ROI at -9%, Google at -15%, Meta at -28%, Oracle at -35%. Only Amazon barely comes out positive. This is exactly why I keep comparing this to the dot-com era. Incredible technology does not automatically mean sustainable economics. The internet survived. Most internet companies didn't. Right now hyperscalers are spending trillions hoping future demand catches up to present capex. That's not certainty. That's a leveraged bet.
