On June 4, 2007 a University of Michigan Transplant Team took to the skies on a Survival Flight mission to save a life. They did not return. May their lives & deeds remembered here reaffirm our commitment to cherish life, to care for the ill & injured, & to serve the common good

14 years ago today, six members of our team were returning from a transplant mission when their Survival Flight plane crashed over Lake Michigan. The memorial at our hospital honors their sacrifice and commitment to patient care. We are forever grateful. michmed.org/BvnYj
