@RichardCityNews 2 questions Are there limits on 'service charges'? Eg $200+$300 s/c. How is ticket resale any different than someone buying a Picasso then selling it when the value increases? Both are profiting from someone's original item. Both are luxuries.

NEW - The Ford government will outlaw selling tickets for more than face value. It says new legislation to soon be tabled would make it illegal for tickets to concerts, cultural, sports and other live events in Ontario to be re-sold for more than their original cost.

A very meaningful meeting with Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney. I am grateful that this visit is taking place today, on such an important day for Ukrainians – Independence Day. This is highly symbolic, as Canada was among the first to recognize the restoration of Ukraine’s independence – to recognize our sovereign state. Today, important documents and clear agreements have been signed. An Action plan for the implementation of the Agreement on security cooperation between our countries, an Agreement on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Customs Matters signed at the ministerial level, and the Letter of Intent on drone production. We also discussed diplomacy, work within the Coalition of the Willing, sanctions efforts, energy cooperation, Canada’s potential assistance in Ukraine’s reconstruction and rehabilitation programs for our veterans, as well as our defense cooperation. I am grateful for Canada’s readiness to join the PURL program, which allows for increased support for Ukraine through U.S. weapons procurement. This means an additional 500 million dollars – a very important contribution. Right now, drones are the number one priority in defense and tactical operations, as they help save lives on the battlefield. The funds allocated by Canada will be directed specifically toward drone production – we discussed this, and agreements have been reached. I am grateful to @MarkJCarney and Canada for all the support – support that is absolutely sincere. Thank you. 🇺🇦🇨🇦

@cityburlington better signage needed at Beachway Park indicating that there is a fee to park there! Maybe at the entrances? Small signs in random places aren't noticeable and ppl are getting ticketed who just weren't aware of the need to pay. No mention of the exemption either.
