Hi @ScotRail, why does your service from Edinburgh to Aberdeen always seem to be standing room only? Given the cost of travel is it really too much to expect to be able to get a seat (reservations were not an option)?

@firescot_chief @ScotRail Heat damage not heating fgs. And I doubt that the station is hermetically sealed. When a flat in my new block caught fire, my flat on other side reeked of smoke.

@ScotRail It was that unsafe last night you allowed a train to be removed from platform 1. So why not allow platforms 11-15 to be used via stairs on Argyle St.

@jamiethebb @ScotRail Never watched "Inside Central Station" you should! The Trains used to be controlled from a building across the bridge but now all the controlling is done from somewhere else in Glasgow. Those offices above WH Smith are the staff canteen.

@firescot_chief @ScotRail AFAIK the control room is above WH Smith so right next to where the fire was so if the control room can't open, no trains can come in the high level platforms.

@sabele26 @ScotRail Heating 😂 its an open station. If you study the photos. You will see that the collapsed building wasnt directly attached to the station. Smoke goes up the way not through walls.

@firescot_chief @ScotRail Don't talk shite. Any major fire the fire brigade will take over then hand it back. Given the close proximity to NR's office to the fire, systems will then need to be checked to ensure everything is working as it should.

@thebufferstop @ScotRail Its nearly a 1/4 mile from the fire to that entrance via the carpark. An awful lot of the city would have to collapse to get to that point. H&S gone mad.

@firescot_chief @ScotRail Not until the fire service give it back to Network Rail and then NR check the infrastructure. As they own and run the station, nothing moves till they say so.

@m4ggiesimpson @ScotRail Thanks for your input Maggie but if you knew platform 15 and the carpark entrance its as close to open air as it can be and furthest away from the area the fire WAS in.

@ScotRail Can you not use the platforms that run to Ayrshire 11 to 15. They are miles from the fire. People could use the stairs and escalators on Argyle Street. Or even get people to use the entrance from the carpark thats on Mitchell St onto platform 15.

@ScotRail And for the able bodied ones that take up the seats for the elderly, disabled and pregnant DON'T, find another seat.
