Netanyahu sent his son to campaign for Orbán. Netanyahu sent a personal video to Orbán's rally. Orbán just lost by 14 points, the biggest landslide in Hungarian democratic history.
Why did Netanyahu care so much?
Because Orbán was the only EU leader who vetoed sanctions on Israel. Every single time. That veto is gone. The ICC withdrawal is reversed.
The EU firewall is dead.
Israel's own Ynet News headline, two days ago: "If Orbán falls, Israel could lose its EU firewall." He didn't just fall.
He was buried.

When we met the new Minister for disability she listened to the @IrishWheelchair the @DisabilityFed and ourselves as we outlined why we desperately needed a €400 emergency payment.
She listened, smiled and said she would bring it to @MichealMartinTD and @SimonHarrisTD but she doubted they could move on it.
We received a letter from the Taioseach outlining why they would not be meeting our demands and one of the narratives was if we give it to you we will open the flood gates.
Well then Dam is burst Taioseach are you still going to stand by and continue to allow our disability and caring community to suffer?

The protests in Ireland are not about just fuel! They are about the distance between Ireland on this graph and every other modern and developed economy. Ireland is second wealthiest but gets waaaaay less than any other country for that wealth. By a golden mile.
That visual gap in this graph? That’s what people are protesting. It’s a lack of infrastructure and the everyday enshittification of services, the economy, and the additional difficulty of trying to live, relative to peers in any other country. It also highlights why people don’t get uniformly listened to! - because there is no government architecture to engage meaningfully across this huge gap.
That gap is a three hour drive to work in traffic, a 14 month wait for an MRI, buses that don’t arrive, trains that don’t exist, schools that have no places for your kids, houses that are unaffordable, pubs that close before midnight, €12 sandwiches, expensive fuel.
People feel this gap, even if they can’t explain it precisely. And that builds into resentment, and ultimately protest. Fuel just happened to be the next thing that could be pointed to, today.

What’s good about this.
It measures relativity.
For interest; when local councillors, regional assemblies & national departments approve ‘plans’ they never set the target ‘relative to other EU’ as that infers vision, targets and trade-offs.
Instead, councillors measure nothing

CHILDREN'S Health Ireland is advising parents of children who need spine-straightening surgery they can 'access care' abroad, even though written agreements have yet to be signed with hospitals in Spain and the US -
