China is one of Australia’s largest trading partners. We’re talking about hundreds of billions in trade, resources, energy, agriculture, all flowing both ways. Islam is thriving because Muslims actually believe in God and have a personal relationship with Him. We are connected to the Quran, believe it is the word of God and submit to its teachings. And we are connected to our daily prayers, mosque and community.
On the other hand, many Brits (even those who call themselves Christian) are sceptical about God and have a long distance relationship with prayer, the Bible or church.
And no amount of fake "cultural Christianity" is going to revive real Christianity without that connection to God, the Bible or church.
