#WritingCommunity #screenwriting Are flashbacks still frowned upon? I've got a comedy that feels stronger starting in the present yet the past lends emotional depth. Debating opening in the past instead of flashing back but the past's tone is different than the rest of the script

Season 3 of Shrinking concluded tonight over on Apple. Harrison Ford’s performance is Emmy-worthy. He was so excellent. I pray to God every day that when I’m 83, I can still do the things Ford still does: he’s physically & mentally sharp as hell. This was a great season of TV.

It was inspiring to watch the Artemis II launch yesterday — @NASA’s first crewed mission around the moon since 1972. Our space program has always captured an essential part of what it means to reach beyond what we thought was possible, and I hope the four brave astronauts on this mission will inspire a new generation to follow in their footsteps.

@jondelarroz It's a man bashing movie. The first 10 minutes of the movie "Men are useless". Nothing but hateful comments about men in this movie.

Every promo image they release of Supergirl make it look that much more cringe. I can't wait for this to flop and James Gunn to get booted.

@gerrigarrick @StrangerNews11 That’s fair. I think they pivoted too much from the characters tbh. It didn’t seem like their arcs were resolved but were more rushed into a resolution. Thanks for debating with me without getting mad. It’s good to share mixed opinions and be ok with it.

So… why did Season 4 have so many clocks if none of them mattered in the finale? 😭

@theonerandi @StrangerNews11 Aw. I thought they led w/character, for me, more impactful than any plot. Seemed they knew the characters were the reason the show was such a hit. Omg those teens putting their binders on the shelf 4 the last time! I was a mess! The rest to me, is there to support those moments.

@gerrigarrick @StrangerNews11 The acting was amazing. The music was great. The cinematography was gorgeous. The stunts, costumes, special effects? All awesome. The story felt like The Duffer Brothers had already moved on so they made things look cool and mentally checked out afterwards.
