I hope you are correct. My concern is the fact that TDS is a major illness in California. Just mention anything about the President and these people go nuts. I hope his endorsement doesn't hurt your chances. I know several people here in California who will automatically vote against anything they think Trump supports. To them they believe that Trump is evil and everything MAGA is evil. When I ask them why I always get an illogical emotional outburst filled with untrue rhetoric. I have given up trying to have rational discussions with them.

If true it sort of proves that it isn't about guns. It's about how we handle the few evil people who are in our society. Most people are good only some are pure evil. Taking the evil off our streets makes a huge difference.
Protect and defend the second amendment and get rid of the liberal prosecutors and judges instead!

Thank you @senjohnkennedyn for trying to do the right thing. If the Senate wants to shut down all or part of the government then they shouldn't get paid until they find a way to pay other federal employees. It's the only fair thing to do unless we really are living on Animal Farm.

🚨 JUST IN: Sen. John Kennedy is in total shock after Dem Sen. Schatz blocked his resolution to prevent senator pay during federal shutdowns — and then FLEEING THE CHAMBER
So he basically told TSA workers "SCREW YOU" and didn't have the GUTS to face them!

Since Congress can't pass a bill that 80% of the American Citizens want we need to ask the question who does Congress work for? They obviously do not work for the people who elect them.

The craziest thing about the Voter ID debate is that it's an issue at all. In the rest of the world showing ID is an administrative requirement, not a political stance. The fact Congress can't enact a policy with 80% public support shows how broken things are.

We cannot have a representative republic if we cannot know that the people voting are eligible to vote. The SAVE America Act would fix that. Americans use ID to verify their identity all the time, and for far less important things than voting. There is no reasonable argument against this bill.

You need to do a better job of letting the public know that it is the Democrats in the Senate that are causing this. A lot of people still believe in (with the help of our corrupt media) and blame the Republicans since they "control" the House, the Senate and the Presidency. They don't understand the rules of the Senate.
You need a simple message like "with 7 Democrat votes in the Senate we can reopen the Department of Homeland Security. Without the support of at least 7 Democrats the TSA, Coastguard, and FEMA will remain closed."
Get the mainstream media and press outlets to publish your message.

You proved my point! It takes 60 votes to get Cloture in the Senate. Cloture must happen before a bill can be voted on. Without Cloture nothing happens. Republicans have 53 votes. The Democrats are holding America hostage. It would only take 7 of them to fix the mess we are in with Homeland Security. The Democrats are holding a gun to America's head until their demands are met.

The financial hardship this Democrat-led chaos created has already forced more than 300 of these heroic officers to LEAVE the force.

We need to secure our elections with voter ID and proof of citizenship. Accurate voting is the bedrock of our country, and we can’t achieve that with widespread mail-in ballots that open the door to "crooked elections" 🗳️
