@parkerhendo Not at all difficult to build a skill that populates context from all of those during / at the end of a session to a vector DB in Supabase (or similar)

I would pay 5-10x more for claude max if regular claude, cowork and claude code were all combined and could share context with each other. having things split across all these makes me sad.

Anthropic just pulled the oldest trick in SaaS pricing. I pay $200/mo for Claude Max. My limits have been noticeably worse this past week. Now they announce 2x off-peak usage for two weeks. Sounds generous. But here’s what actually happens: limits quietly drop, a temporary 2x makes the reduced limit feel normal, the promo ends, and you’re left at a baseline lower than where you started. You just didn’t notice the downgrade because the 2x absorbed the transition. These AI plans are massively subsidized. The raw compute behind a heavy user costs multiples of the subscription price. Every move like this is the subsidy quietly correcting. Very sneaky, Anthropic.
Claude@claudeai

A small thank you to everyone using Claude: We’re doubling usage outside our peak hours for the next two weeks.

The long context window means fewer compactions and longer-running sessions. I've found myself starting new sessions much less frequently with 1 million context. Read more in our blog here: claude.com/blog/1m-contex…

@acailler @g__j THERE WAS THE START OF A WAR THAT IMPACTED ENERGY SUPPLY You have a CEO of an energy company responding directly to you with clear, detailed answers. At least have the respect to read and consider what he is actually saying!

@g__j Greg, going "OH LOOK, OVER THERE IS WORSE" is not the winning argument you think it is. Again, why the jump from free to £50 to £75 per fuel within around five days?

Unlike most co's, Octopus rarely has exit fees. We are introducing now only for *new* fixed tariffs This is because when you buy a fixed tariff now we are buying a year's worth of energy for you, in a very challenging market. Other co's aren't offering fixed tariffs at all. 1/n
Adam Cailler@acailler

Incredibly poor customer service from @OctopusEnergy to put the exit fees up from £0 to £50, then to £75 all in one week for customers looking to switch tariffs. Shameful.

@svpino For anything I want it to do robustly on a schedule in the background I have reverted to just using Claude Code and Cron / GCP. Still use it when wanting to do something more interactive where architecting via Claude Code feels overkill

Skills in Claude Code right now are a cat-and-mouse game. Today, they work. Tomorrow, they fail. This is extremely frustrating. When you run them manually, you can catch any new mistakes and update the skill so they don't happen again (hopefully!) But this means you can't automate much because the model keeps "inventing" new ways to perform the task, even when those methods violate the skill rules. Last week alone, I had to make 4 updates to a skill that ran 6 times. There's still a lot of work to do until this is reliable.

@ThomasBurkhartB @claudeai @bcherny its a hard technical problem, so there are definitely edge cases and we're working on sanding them down! I was vibe coding in the park today though and it worked great

I tried this morning @claudeai remote control. In prínciple really cool but interrupting got the sessions stuck and no way to get it going which was kind of sad. @bcherny @trq212

@LDiken @petergyang @bcherny I am not seeing that behaviour. I am getting asked about everything in the world remotely and all of my live sessions in CC were with dangerously-skip-permissions

@petergyang @bcherny If you start Claude code CLI with —dangerously-skip-permissions, the session carries over to remote control.

Announcing a new Claude Code feature: Remote Control. It's rolling out now to Max users in research preview. Try it with /remote-control Start local sessions from the terminal, then continue them from your phone. Take a walk, see the sun, walk your dog without losing your flow.

based on theo’s video i am now most definitely on anthropic’s “hit list” 🤣 i hated when apple did this and i’ll speak up about anthropic too sometimes company’s turn around for example lovable and cursor who both i have talked insane shit about in the past, continue to give me free and early access to things but anthropic is just not that type of company

Humanity has advanced more in the past 3 weeks than the previous 100 years combined: • OpenClaw: greatest AI application ever • Opus 4.6: smartest AI model ever • Codex 5.3 Spark: greatest coding model ever • MiniMax 2.5: greatest super intelligence on your desk I have moved up my timelines for the singularity and permanent underclass. We are 6-12 months away. You have literally 1 job every morning when you wake up: find what the latest tech is, and integrate it into your life immediately. These are the steps I'd do right now: 1. Get OpenClaw installed on a local device. Have it automate 1 workflow you have 2. Try out the agent swarms on Claude Code with Opus 4.6. 3. Build your first app with Codex 5.3 Spark. You can have a fully working app done in literally 30 seconds flat, even if you've never coded before 4. Prepare for a world of local intelligence. Even if you are on the cheapest Mac Mini there is, you can install Gemma 3 4b and have a lightweight model running on your computer. This is the future The only way to escape the permanent underclass is to be on the cutting edge Don't say I didn't give you the playbook

I can't get Claude for Chrome to work via Claude Code anymore. I did all the standard troubleshooting ('reconnect', start with --chrome, quit and relaunch Chrome). Anyone else having the same issue? What worked?

@AlexFinn What is your definition of without you asking? Because it really isnt autonomous - you still need an input / trigger for it to 'do it by itself'

"ClawdBot is nothing special. ChatGPT can do all of this" OK, if you can show me how ChatGPT does the following use cases I've accomplished, I'll write you a check for a million dollars: • Every night vibe codes me new tooling without me asking • Self improves itself by building new memory systems. Now remembers every detail of every conversation (again, without me asking) • Texts me proactively when a competitor posts a Youtube video that performs better than their average • Continuously analyzing my own youtube videos, writing new scripts based on structures and hooks that work. Delivers a new script to my inbox every morning (one video it scripted already has $2,600 of ad revenue) If you can show me how to do any of these use cases with ChatGPT without any additional tooling, the million dollars is yours.

@alicelovescake1 @dguido @jeffzwang Last 1 (tried more) Ext works fine in Chrome popup. Ext service worker shows no activity when CLI tries to connect - the connection attempt never reaches the extension Native host has pipe conflict: EADDRINUSE: \\.\pipe\claude-mcp-browser-bridge-XX even with Desktop fully closed

@alicelovescake1 @dguido @jeffzwang Debugging with CC suggests its an issue with both CD and CC CLI registering native messaging hosts for the same Chrome extension ID. So CC CLI is locked out
