The question British people will be asked at the next election is this: Do you think we should continue to allow millions of low-skill, low-wage migrants from outside Europe, who often cannot speak English, do not make a net contribution to the economy, and rely on welfare to stay in the UK forever and force British families to pay for it? Or, do you think like many other countries around the world we should sharply reduce immigration and reshape what immigration we have around people who can speak our language properly, have no criminal record, do not rely on welfare, and make a net contribution to the economy while keeping welfare and social housing for British families and forcing firms to invest in British workers?
