Half term. Time to catch up with life admin that non-teachers can do anytime. Going well so far 🤔🙄 Dentist- £200 for a filling, tyre check- £150 for new tyres. Best pause life admin until 2025. Defo best not go to the docs-imagine how much money is needed to sort that out! 😂

@DBrearey @BlackhorsePri We designed it ourselves with 2601.co.uk as we didn’t like the commercially available ones. 2601 were new to the timeline business but we go exactly what we wanted. Now 2601 have done this first one, they have the template to design them for other schools too.

The epic @BlackhorsePri Timeline is going up! Above the line are world events/ civilisations (linked to our school community & curriculum). In the line is the history of Bristol, & below the history of the U.K. Just the ‘events since 1900’ section to go now!

@Southgloshead ‘grubby’ cycling 😂😂😂

Whilst, as a runner, I feel a bit grubby saying it out loud, I’m quite enjoying the bicycling these days. Got the next two races booked in to keep me motivated en route to the ‘Brutal Duathlon’ in September! Both 100 miles and both include a vertical mile!

It proved to be a somewhat larger project than expected, with a drop of 10ft depicting 10 yrs of U.K. and school history (with a panel created by every child), but our Platinum Jubilee hanging is finally up! joined by one made for the Diamond jubilee & another made in 2015!

So today marks my 40th year on the planet. How did that happen?! Plans to get fit & healthy before I hit 40 today failed. My family have said I need to do things in 40 today so... 40 chocolate bars seems a good start! Not quite sure, I can apply the same to drinks later today😂👍

Great to be back at St George’s hall, one of Bristol’s best classical music venues, with the combined choirs of @BlackhorsePri, @Mangotsfieldps, @headowl1 & @kingsforestpri. The staff even did a turn too!

In another sign of a return to a normal summer, @BlackhorsePri mighty Track Team win the @CSETSports1 Cross-country league, returning the shield which had been won every year for 8 years (before being won by St Stephens in 2019 and then not contested in 2020 & 2021 due to Covid).
