Anyone who feels that way about public service should be removed from it immediately. Who the hell shops at work anyway on their work computer? You can buy just about anything on a phone. It’s obviously not really about shopping it’s about having a hobby whilst pretending to work removed which will force all sorts of people to actually try doing something. The Jamie Dimon "I don't know what he means by fair share" response has aged particularly poorly. Bernie's math here is pretty concrete — specific rates, specific outcomes. Whether you agree with the policy or not, "I don't understand the question" isn't really a serious rebuttal when the numbers are right there.

Bernie, instead of demanding higher taxes, why not focus first on eliminating the massive waste, fraud, and abuse already plaguing our federal government? Hardworking Americans and the entrepreneurs and investors who create jobs and drive economic growth would greatly appreciate seeing our existing tax dollars used responsibly before any call for more revenue.
